Description of Work: I paid Lowes $35.00 to send an installer to my house to give me a quote to install linoleum in the kitchen. It took them a week and a half to come out. It is a rental house an the agreement I made with the Landlord was he purchased the linoleum from Lowes. I would pay to install it. The measurement was 17 yards. The quote I received is $978 of which $676.84 was labor. That's $57.53 per square just to install a piece of remnant that the Landlord paid less than one hundred dollars for. I will update in the next few days after I get the other two quotes back. If they had told me they really didn't want to do the install and was going to price it accordingly, I wouldn't have wasted my time and money paying for a quote.

 + -1 moreIn it time, decking began to warp and form mold. We contacted Lowes to ask for assistance. We were told they wouldn't replace the decking and they would not send a repairman to correct the problem despite the fact "a Lowe's trained installer" installed this decking.
Description of Work: I purchased Choice Dek decking material @ approximately 8000.00 dollars. I asked about recommended installers and was given the name of a "Lowes' trained installer". This installer was totally incompetent and dishonest. He left the job undone and we were forced to hire someone to fix his screw ups.

Day 1 the contractor pulled up our existing tile flooring in the kitchen and advised us on how to clean up the existing mold on the subfloor and recommended a paint to apply to apply. Day 2 the plumber we had agreed to came and took out the toilet. The installation crew came in and installed the linoleum, had the plumber come back to reinstall the toilet and cleaned up. The job was done very professionally, quickly, and they cleaned up very well.
Description of Work: We had Lowe's select a contractor to install linoleum in our kitchen and bathroom. We ordered the materials at Lowe's. They notified the contractor when material list was complete and had the contractor arrange installation date with us.
