I am actually a tenant that lives behind the building of Zelle Title Company. I have been a loyal and hardworking individual and after several personal and financial losses they tried to serve me with an eviction notice, after breaking my lease. I was supposed to move in to a smaller unit to save money after being in a car accident, losing my job after my fathers death and losing my personal business. In the past they have always been reasonable, however, his wife who helps him run the company along with the property manager are less than trustworthy. No one ever knows whats going on. The servers they use are easily hacked and allowed my banking and personal information to be stolen. I am trying to settle this reasonably with the landlord and they have done nothing but undermine me at every turn. Keep in mind this is after living here since 2010-2011, never ever missing a payment AND paying more than my fellow tenants for years until someone else brought up the amount they paid in rent as well as the fact that our CWLP and Ameren bills had skyrocketed. Turns out I was paying for other peoples services. While I trust Lee himself, I do not trust some of the other workers, and think they are underhanded and snotty. I have worked many office jobs and customer service positions and I would lose all my clients if I treated them this way. So in conclusion, if you need assistance closing on a home or with legal matters, they can surely help, but don't rent from them. The basements flood so bad that I've taken several hits without ever submitting a claim because I didn't want it to affect my insurance premiums or claim history. The maintenance man is wonderful, but he can't take blame for something that's not his actual property. Disgusted with the way they treat tenants and see why they've had such a massive turnover in the past couple of years.
