Friendly Chevrolet

The car would not start, and I took it in 3 different times in order to resolve situation. Upon the fourth situation of returning the car I talked to the service manager and indicated that if they could not fix it correctly I wanted some form of return money because it had cost me several hundred dollars each time I brought it in. On the 4th return it quit yet again and when I open the hood parts of the engine we're still on top of the interior of the engine block that had not been put back on the engine. When I told the service manager about it he said well if you don't get good service from us go someplace else I don't want you back. I took the vehicle to Merle's automotive just outside of spfld and he repaired it for $60. I was out the $1,400 that I had spent at friendly Chevrolet. Friendly Chevrolet is not all that "friendly".!!

When I took my Spark in on May 23rd for the Air Conditioner blowing out hot air, after checking it out, I was told a Recall had just came out for this. The parts would take several days to get in. I was given a loaner car to drive. The parts came in on the 28th and my car was repaired same day at no cost to me.

My Service man was Dan. He is very pleasant to deal with and keeps you informed. My air conditioner is working now. Friendly Chevrolet is very customer orientated. I recommend Friendly Chevrolet as a place to buy and for it's service department.

excellent service at a good price

We brought in our Silverado right before Labor Day weekend. They were able to look at it and fix it the first day they were back in the garage, on Tuesday morning. We requested an oil change, and also for them to look at the hood. They simply adjusted the brush guard, which had been knocked out of alignment by someone bumping into it in a parking lot, and the oil change went smoothly as usual. Fast drop off and pick-up. Love Friendly!

I took my pastors car in for repairs so I could pay for the repairs and they were not able to resolve the problem with the car. I had it back four times over 6 (six) weeks and spoke to the repair manager and the sales manager and was denied access to the general manager and owner. the managers I spoke with were kind but after I exited it seemed as though I never asked for help in resolving the issues at hand. The last time, I requested a new services person after finding that they had a new student working on it. The next and last time they did not put the engine parts back together. I got a call from the pastor stuck at a store and when he opened the hood found engine parts on top of the disconnected air filter. (Pastor was very late for one funeral and had to call in a replacement for another due to faulty workmanship.) The vehicle was NEVER repaired correctly at this vender.
It was repaired at CARL JOHNSON'S AUTO one week later by a simple tune-up, and at considerably less cost!

They were friendly. The prices are reasonable.

At first the salesman was very nice and helpful. I test drove the car I was interested in and told the salesman I would like to see some figures on my trade and the price of the vehicle I was looking at with some possible payments.

They came back with their offer, which I counter-offered with more for my trade and some money off the new car. They declined my offer and stated that they would not negotiate prices with me and that their deal was take it or leave it.

At that point the salesman became very condescending so I left and bought a car at a different dealership 75 miles away.

I will never deal with Friendly Chevrolet ever again and will definitely not recommend them to any of my family or friends.
