It was fantastic. They installed a new HVAC for us and were on time and got everything done as expected. They had the best price for the grade of furnace and AC they installed. My husband met Mr. Collins face-to-face for the quote and liked him. I got to talk with him over-the-phone and he answered all my questions. Now that it is a year after the initial installation, everything is still working fantastic. Our electric and gas bills went down by 25-40% when I compare this past years bills to a year prior to that. My husband is a huge fan of this company, and now that we are moving to another place, he wants them to do the work for our new place.

We hired Collins after another company failed to complete the job and then told us it was impossible. Collins came and looked at the system, bid for the job, and then completed it without any problem. The people we worked with were really nice and a pleasure to have in our home. It was an expensive job, but we wanted it done and were willing to pay for competent professional service. Very happy with Collins and we will use them again.

We originally called to look at our water heater. They came and looked at it got it fixed, but then told me we needed to move the water heater so that it could vent properly because they were afraid of carbon monoxide entering the home. I declined and said we would get that checked at another time. They left and an hour later they were back at my house saying that they have to turn out water heater off because they can't leave it on in case carbon monoxide was leaking into the home. Finally I agree to let them move it but it is now going to cost us $700 to do so. After they do that a few weeks later there is a leak in the plumbing they did and can't come out to fix it. We have to call another company to fix it which cost us another $450 which Collins refuses to pay for. They did work we never wanted done and then refuses to own up when it wasn't even done right!!!
They were extremely rude to my husband when he called about the leak. I will NEVER call them again. They were rude, unprofessional and disrespectful, not to mention bad plumbers.

The technician arrived at the appointed time and my son met with him to relay my service request. The technician completed the a/c check and made some recommendations. I was delayed and unable to meet him myself, so my son wrote down everthing and said the technician decided not to leave a bill. The technician completed his work and and then called me reciting the same recommendations that he gave my son. I was impressed with his work and felt more at ease using the a/c after it was checked out. The tech recommended that I discontinue using the more expensive a/c filters because it was not required of my system and affected the air flow. He said changing the filters more often and changing the brand could make a difference in my monthly bill. That was the best news of all.

I've been using them for about 10 years. They are always pleasant. They come when I call them. They are very accomodating.
