Buckley's Prairie Landscaping

Originally two people met with me at the house and promised an estimate.  After a few days another person called and said he would be out to look at the shoreline again, explaining the he had more experience with what I wanted done.  I appreciated that another person came out, especially since his plan was very detailed and I knew he understood what was needed.   I waited longer than was necessary for the bid.  I had to call repeatedly and when I finally talked with the staff member that came out to look over my shoreline a 2nd time, he was very defensive and almost argumentative.  He reminded me that I should be calling his cell phone instead of the main office, but his cell phone is not set up to take messages.  Pretty neat trick of not having to return calls. However, communication did improve.
I was ultimately happy with the work.  I had been told that Buckley's was "ok", and that customer communication was spotty.  I agree with that assessment, but I they need more than one landscaping designer, who is definitely overworked.
I want some additional landscaping done around my house, but have decided to go with another company.

I had a tree removed and they made it a nice bed, put some stones there, edged it, and planted several plants. They planted some plants in my garden too. They also helped me to pick out the plants that I wanted. I would definitely use them again in the future.
