In addition to feeling rushed, my brow area was not clean and I had to finish the job when I got home. I was also looking for some hair styling products and felt that the goal was more to sell me product than to find out what product might work best for me. My experience at BJ Salon was such that I knew I would not come back.

I've gone to this salon for hair cuts for years and LOVE it! While on vacation I had gel nails put on so when I returned home I needed to get them filled. I naturally thought I would make a day of it and get my hair and nails done at BJ's. I will never do that again! First the lady used a fingernail file to rough up the surface of my nails....not that that is a bad thing to do but I just though an electric filer was normally used. When I asked about it, the lady told me they do that so they don't damage your nail surface. Ok...sounds good. Then she put on a very thin (and I mean paper thin) layer of gel filling from the back of my nail and spreading to the tips. She then brightened up the white on my tips and I'm done. I've never had gel nails so I don't claim to be an expert, but they just didn't look right. I could still see the crack on the one that I pointed out to her when we started. Well, that shiny new look lasted 5 days and I started noticing a cloudy look on a few nails by my cuticles and on the sides. Next I notice one of my nails has a diagonal chip across the top of the nail. By day 7 I don't have one nice looking nail! The thin layer of gel has chipped off every nail to varied degrees. They look pathetic. I will return to BJ's for my hair care, but never for my nails!

I have been there several times. They have a class for makeup and when I saw my daughter wear, I liked it and went back for the class. She applied makeup on me and I bought it, too. It looked great.

The experience wasn't great, you could tell that the girls were unhappy. The place was packed with young employees, and they were lacking in professionalism because of their young employees.

I have always been very pleased with the service I have recieved. My pedicure will last 4-6 weeks without chipping and my complexion has improved since I have been going to Ellie. She has given me hints on how to care form my skin inbetween visits. I would and have recomended BJ Salon for these services.

I recently went in for an hour massage. I saw Katie Brie Grundy and she was amazing. I wil definitely be going back for more massages in the future.

I would recommend Tricia or Nickie. They have some really talented manicure and pedicure people.

I didn’t like it at all. The treatment was just poor. It wasn’t comfortable. It was uncomfortable and expensive. I was told that it was longer than it was. I was very unimpressed. I would suggest others to ask a lot of questions about the treatment they are expecting.

Update: Although I haven't had the same treatment from BJ my husband got me a gift certificate for several mani/pedis. I've enjoyed them thoroughly. In addition, I've had a GK treatment there and was very happy with it.
