As always, they did a great job, they did it quickly and they provided excellent suggestions for my project  I always comes to Avenue Glass when I need repairs on my screen windows or any kind of glass work.  And did I mention the price?  Avenue Glass is amazingly, well, cheap.  I'm always stunned at receiving great work at such a low price.  The only downside is that they're not open on weekends - but their quality and low costs make giving up a lunch hours. 

I was surprised to see such a low grade for Avenue Glass.  I think they're amazing!

When complete, I was called and given the close time intending to pick up the glass after work. I then arranged to go with my father in law who has a truck. On arrival, approximately 10 minutes before aforementioned closing time, a man was locking up the premises and told me that he couldn't help me as he had already cashed out the register. Having got someone to drive me all the way across town especially, this was the first unprofessional act.
The next day I called to tell them what happened and the lady I spoke to would not accept the possibility that someone could close early and arrogantly and repeatedly stated their closing time as if it was a physical impossibility that anyone could lock up early. She would not discuss this matter and, after a couple of back and forths on this issue, asked me if I was going to pick up the glass or should they dispose of it.
To cut a long story short, I did not pick up the glass and, instead went to a competitor. I will never order glass from Avenue again as rude and unprofessional conduct is utterly inexcusable.
This was at least a couple of years ago but it just goes to show that if you upset a customer they will not only remember but will go out of their way to tell people about the experience too.

The next morning about 11:00 they telephoned and told me the car was finished. After work I met my daughter at home, and we drove together to get her car. It looks as good as new. They did a wonderful job on the repair, delivering it exactly as promised. My daughter drove her car home, meaning it took about 24 hours after first discovering the problem until we were driving away from Avenue Glass with the problem completely solved. I feel very relieved and happy with the work. Also, the charge is very reasonable I believe.

We commissioned this company to cut some glass to put on top of some bedroom furniture and it took around a week after which time they phoned to let me know it was ready for pickup. So far so good. Because I work 8-4.30 I asked when they were open with a view to coming after work. They replied that they closed at 5pm daily. Based on this I enrolled the help of my father-in-law who has a truck, and we drove to the other side of town to pick up the glass. We arrived at precisely 4:52pm and as I reached the door a gentleman was exiting who locked the door and explained that all the money has been taken out of the registers so he can't help me. When I spoke to someone at the company and explained that I had arrived before closing time the person argued with me, insisting that they close at 5pm. Not even acknowledging my argument, she continued to assert that they close at 5pm. When I continued to assert my case her response was simply, "are you going to come and pick up the glass or shall we destroy it?" Of course I let them incur the loss for their rudeness and unprofessional conduct. Instead, I took my money elsewhere.
