AutoZone Inc

I purchased the motor and I was told that there was a 3 year, 30,000 mile warranty. I only have 20,000 miles oin it. It started riding rough and I thought it was a fuel problem. I took it into a shop and I was told that the timing was off 7 degrees, it was a minor fix and I thought nothing of it. A couple of months later the same thing happened and the mechanic said that its a timing chain problem and I should consult the manufacturer and the warranty. When I went into Autozone to claim the warranty, they said it was the manufacturer's warranty. I called the manufacturer from the store and they said they will call me and Autozone. I never heard back and I finally called them. They said it was passed the three year period and it was no longer able to be covered by the warranty. My problem is really with Autozone since they are selling a product that they are not standing behind.
