The construction company arrived to start the deck before the patio people so we had to have them come back after the patio was done to install the steps. They were very agreeable and were willing to work with the situation to get the job done right. They came and tore out the old cedar deck the first day and hauled away the debris a couple days later. The next day they put in the post holes and started putting in the joists and the flooring. It took about 4 days and they took the time to let us know some options for our posts and railings during the course of building the new deck. At one point, they were just starting to install the spindels when my husband noticed they had the wrong ones, it was early in the process so they were able to stop, call the boss and sure enough, had the wrong ones. The next day they had the right ones and continued on. They did a quality job and explained how to take care of our new deck.
