The tech was polite, punctual and very competent.

Every time I've used A-1 Lock they've been very helpful and responsive. The first time I was just having the house rekeyed throughout and they were very thorough and gave me extra keys and made sure to take care of every door. The two other times were emergencies and the person on the phone was very kind and efficient, lining up a locksmith to come and help. The locksmith was able to do what I needed each time and got me back into my house even on a holiday when I'd locked myself out. I think he even worked a little later to make that possible for me, so I really appreciated it and the fee was still extremely reasonable even at the last minute on a holiday. I would recommend them for any key services you might need done.

They grit locks for me primarily and they probably in the past, in some time, gave me a brand new locks before. But mostly it was a rekey in existing lock and all inexpensive, they came on time, and I don't have any complains about them. This is not been recent, that was some time ago. Last couple of years, I had a relock problem. It was less than $50 that was inexpensive for the rekeying and service, all, I do not find it being expensive at all. Well, the people, they have always been punctual, professional, and you know, I still feel like anybody was trying to take or fail me at anything else. They just did exactly what I needed. It was fine. I do not have any problems with them. Absolutely, I will call them again.

I had previuoly contacted another company to do this service and was sadly disapointed with the results. In less that 2 month the problem was back so I called A-1 Lock . This was at 12;30 in the afternoon. The tech, Jamie. was at the propery by 3:30. I had explained to him my previuos experience with the other company and asked him to reevalute both locking mechanism's for my property. He took 10 minutes and came back with a value based solutiuon. I authorized the work and 20 minutes later the work was completed. Boy was I impressed. This young man knew his work. I have been in a service based business for years and A-1 deffinatly is at the top of there game. After completion of the dsiscussed work, I asked to have some addiotional keys made for the building. He did not have the blank on his truck for me. He drove all the way back to the shop and delivered the key back to me on his way home from work - at no charge. I think he felt bad abount not having the right blank on his truck in the first place. This is service that is way ahead of any my expectations. This company has been around a long time. Now I know why. I can't speak for the other techs @ A-1 but my 58 years of experience tells me that great employees like great service usually starts at the top.

They came on a Sunday, they came fast, and they took care of it for me. All I can say is good things about them.

Overall it went very well. The person answering their phones and the young man that came out were very professional. When he was on his way to my home, he got a flat. The dispatcher called and informed me and that he'd be a bit delayed and apologized for the inconvenience. She called back again when he was on his way with an ETA.

We had our front door replaced years ago, and the lock was keyed to match the other outside doors in our house. The installers gave us one key which opened the front door and all the other doors in our house. Months later we had need to lock the front door from the outside and tried using one of our original keys. It did not work, although it worked in all the other doors of our house. The key for the front door worked in all the other locks too. Well, through the years we lost the one key which worked in the front door. My wife finally asked me this morning to get a locksmith to figure out the problem. After getting home from work about 3:00 this afternoon, I checked AngiesList.com, found a good report on A1 Locksmith, and called them. Turns out there was a locksmith free. He came to our house, spent about 10 minutes re-keying the lock, and told me even thought all the locks were from the same manufacturer, the front door lock is newer and uses 7 pins, where as the other locks use only a 6-pin lock. That explained why the older keys didn't work in the front door. Mystery solved.

A1 Locksmith sent a young fellow named Jonah to our house. A very polite and nice fellow, he got right to work, fixed the lock, tested all keys on the front door and all the other doors just to be sure everything was fine, and left us completely satisfied. The whole process took about 20 minutes. Unbelievably fast response, amazing service, polite employee, and even the woman answering the telephone was delightfully nice.

They were punctual and completed the work requested. The safe was opened with minimal destruction to the door. The lock is no longer useful but we were informed of this before it was completed. As it turns out, they charged us less than originally quoted. Would definitely recommend their services.
