They did a good job of putting Freon on my unit. They were quick and they came in a good response. It was hard to get a hold of them. They can improve by being easier to get a hold of. I like that they are close by.

THE TECHNICIAN CAME PROMPTLY, WAS PROFESSIONAL, AND WAS ABLE TO  DETERMINE THE PROBLEM IN A SHORT TIME.  OVER THE PHONE BEFORE HE CAME TO THE HOUSE, HE ASKED PERTINENT QUESTIONS TO TRY AND DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM.  HE ASKED IF THE  HEAT BUTTON WAS SWITCHED ON -ON THE THERMOSTAT.  OVER THE PHONE HE GAVE ME PRICING  - THIS IS 10 PM AT NIGHT.  THIS PRICING AND POSSIBLE SCENARIOS HELPED GET AN HANDLE ON WHAT I WAS LOOKING AT COST WISE, AND THE BILL WAS NOT A SURPRISE.  
OVERALL, HE DID A GOOD JOB, WAS PROFESSIONAL. I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN.

They are good. We’ve used them before and it was very good. We did some competitive pricing and they actually were negotiating with our product.

I needed my old units replaced when I found out that Spring Grove Heating went out of business. I called the same Spring Grove phone number and John answered. He advised me that he recently took over the business. He came over and gave me a quote for the same unit that I had replaced in December 2012 (I have 2 systems) at the same price. He scheduled the installation for the next week.The materials and crew showed up on time and completed the work as promised. His crew were very professional and knew what they were doing. I highly recommend these people for heating/air conditioning needs.

They show up on time when I make an appointment. They are very pleasant and courteous. They take the time to answer any questions I have. I've used them in the past. If they find something, they come and explain it to me. I didn't have anything this go-around. They are very thorough.

Spring Grove came out when our outdoor air unit went down.  They made sure to come out immediatly because the temps were in the 90s.  They showed me what part was broken, but were very honest in if it would be a quick fix or a temporary fix.  Eventually the whole unit went down, and they were promply out a month later with a new outdoor unit.  Spring Grove Heating was very professional honest people.  After replaceing the unit, they even credited back the money from the first repair.  The only complaint was the communication between the office and service men could be slow.  But I would use them again!

We recently purchased our home and upon turning our central air on for the very first time discovered that not only was it blowing hot air, but the unit outside was covered in ice after a couple of hours. Since it was a Saturday and even though it was blistering hot the forecast for Sunday was low 70s so I decided to save myself the after-hours/weekend service call rates and waited until Monday morning to call the original installer whose sticker was still on the unit. I did a little research online and tried all the recommended DIY'er troubleshooting. My self-diagnosis was a refrigerant recharge was in order. I called first thing Monday morning when they opened and was greeted by a very friendly man who heard out my problem and turned me over to a scheduler. No less than two minutes later I scheduled a service call for that same day between 1 and 3pm.

At 1:10pm two gentleman arrived in a clean company vehicle with matching company shirts. Both very friendly, introduced themselves and both shook my hand. I explained my situation and what I looked into myself. They agreed it was likely what I suspected. After 60 minutes they dignosed the problem, added 2 pounds of refrdgerant (R22) and tested the temperature and pressure of the unit to make certain it was within acceptable range.

They added that I should use cheaper/less expensive filters versus the 3M filters I am using as they do in fact trap the same amount of dirt just not as long so they must be changed more often. However, they do allow more air flow through than the more expensive ones I am using and that is actually better for the performance of the furnace and air conditioning unit.

They also informed me that they had no way of telling if I have a slow leak so I should monitor the performance of the unit and call if anything suspect happens. In this case a repair or replacement of my 10+ year old unit may be necessary. This is why I marked Quality as N/A. They did what they could in that they got the A/C working again, but cannot guarantee the work.

All in all very professional, very courteous and I would recommend this company to anyone in need of new installation, repair or replacement of exiting HVAC equipment.

Every time we have had to deal with Spring Grove Heating they have always been friendly and professional. They spent the time explaining the operation and maintenance of the furnace and air conditioner and work hard to correct any concerns that we have.
