WILSON & SON HEATING & AC

When I called on Friday and explained what we needed I understood the need for the Tuesday 230pm appt. This would not be a typical service call for the coils to be cleaned. Rather I was in need of estimate of what labor, parts etc would cost to repair the unit. I spoke with a gentleman (no name was given to me) who explained why the need for Tuesday which I agreed and understood. On Tuesday at 230pm there was no one at my home. By 330pm I still had not heard from the company as to why the delay so I called the office and spoke to a female (again, no one identified themselves by name. Only by company name.) who stated she had no idea about our appointment as it "was not listed in the books". She stated she would have to "call the crew" and "see whats going on". At 4pm a gentleman shows up at our door, unfortunately just as thunderstorms were coming in our area, from Wilson & Sons. He is in a hurry and states he will not work his crew in the rain (ok, I can appreciate that) and we negotiate another time for the next day Wed the 22nd which was to be at 10am. Wed morning by 11am we have not heard anything. We call the office and again get a female who stated she had "no idea why they are not there" and promises to "have the crew call you". No calls. We call again at 1130. Same female, same statements. We wait, we call again at 230pm. Same female, same answers. By 315pm with no contact from this company, other than the calls *we* initiated, we call and tell them to never mind. We will get another company to perform the service. Again, the person answering the phones was the same female we have been dealing with all day. Wed afternoon at 335pm we get a voice mail left from a male identifying himself as "Mr. Wilson, from Wilson and Sons". The message left was rude and condescending. Mr. Wilson stated his secretary "called you this morning" (no, she didnt) "we are not a Dr's office who can drop everything to rush when you want us" (We had an appointment scheduled. I do not consider asking someone to keep their end of the agreed upon appointment time asking them to drop everything and rush to assist me) and "there were power outages we had to take care of first". We realize emergencies happen and need to superceed schedule times all that we ask for is honest, polite service and communication. Wilson and Sons failed on all accounts. Had they told us immediately that they had to tend to power outage situations we would have graciously rescheduled to another day. Instead we wasted an entire day waiting on non-existant service and communication.
