The installation seemed to go well.  However, once the heating season started, the radiator in the garden apartment's living room did not work, and the one in the garden apartment's bedroom stopped working before long.  This was because the radiators were not installed so that they were slightly above the pipes carrying the steam.  Mr. Smith and his assistant came back and adjusted the one in the living room so that it worked, as called for by the warranty, but despite numerous promises to come back to adjust the radiator in the bed room they have not done so.  So they have not stood by their warranty and we will have to hire another plumber to perform the work Mr. Smith's firm was to do.

 I do want to report, however that while I am confident that I am reporting on the same Robert A. Smith plumber, he now goes by Smith Plumbing & Sewer, Inc. and has relocated to 1200 Ring Road, Suite 1876, Calument City, IL 60409.  Business phone is 708-474-5134 and cell phone is 773-456-5067.
