We had a very poor experience with Carpenter's Millwork. The project had gotten off well with our designer Bree. However, she had to leave for maternity leave, and it seems the service and expertise left with her. We had several design flaws in our cabinet which range from the cabinet for the hood over the stove being too high, the island in the way of the fridge door opening, missing moldings, and incorrect moldings around the fridge. In each instance, it took the owner, Gary, considerable time to attempt to correct these. At the end, we have had to live with many of these flaws. The worst part is that the $2,400 that was spent on the laundry room cabinets was a complete waste - they don't fit in the space we have. We have requested a refund for those which have declined. There are many cabinet makers in Chicago, I would recommend avoiding this company.
Description of Work: We had Carpenter's Millwork design and order cabinets for the kitchen, 5 bathroom and laundry room.
