 + -1 moreHe was cheap, but you get what you pay for. They ended up doing about 80-percent of the work we wanted them to. They did not put insulation back into a wall they tore down and an inspector pointed out to us that insulation was needed
Description of Work: I used Waltos Construction to move a door from my garage to my laundry room. They knocked down a closet and were supposed to put the closet back in, but they did not put it back in right. So we had to tear it out and put it back in ourselves.

 + 2 moreThey are very flexible with regards to timing. They will take kind of most any construction or remodeling projects, they came well recommended from a friend and they came in and did the job and got it done and left. I would use them again.
Description of Work: I used Walto's construction. They moved a door in my launder room and did some bunch of electrical stuff in March.

 + 0 moreThe Waltos's are a family: Ted (who doesn't speak great english) and his two sons Robert and Mark (who speak English as well as I do). They are great. Great work. Pleasant to deal with. Fair pricing. Handle the inevitable problems that arise in a calm "customer is always right kind of way". Clean up after themselves. Keep you informed. As long as they are in business, they are my guys for work on the house. No reason to go anywhere else. Robert and Mark do all the bidding. You will likely be dealing with one of the brothers. Ted, the dad, is an incredible master craftsman whose English is heavily accented. So he leaves the customer contact to his sons.
Description of Work: New Windows on the first floor of the house, plus a laundry list of items from my wife.

 + -1 moreThey came out and removed three lights for me and put in two new ones, removed two light in another room and replaced them with two other lights, and put in eight pendant light and two switched to control them. They have been great. They came right on time. Did a nice job. It looks good.

 + -1 moreI GAVE THEM A B FOR PUNCTUALITY BECAUSE, SINCE THEY DO GOOD WORK FOR REASONABLE PRICES, THEY ARE QUITE BUSY. YOU NEED TO SCHEDULE YOUR WORK WITH THEM A WEEK OR MORE AHEAD.
Description of Work: IN ONE RENTAL BUILDING, REMODELED 3 BATHS AND 2 KITCHENS. IN MY HOME: (1)COMBINED A HALF BATH AND A CLOSET INTO A FULL BATH, USING THE 80 YEAR OLD DOOR TO MAINTAIN ARCHITECTURAL CONTINUITY. (2) FINISHED BASEMENT SPACE INCLUDING DEMOLITION OF OLD STUFF, 2 RECESSED LIGHTING BANKS, 7 LIGHT SCONCES, AND MUCH DRYWALL.
