In August 2021 AJD replaced my old concrete driveway with California style concrete. AJD did a great job. I received a detailed estimate. The installation was high quality. I highly recommend AJD.

In August 2021 I had my old asphalt driveway replaced with a red stamped concrete. I waited four months before I wrote review. The driveway definitely has the wow factor. This happy customer highly recommends them !

AJD replaced an existing 25 year old concrete driveway and exceeded my expectations. They were thorough, on time, and on budget. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Long story short I would not recommend this company and that is being kind. When we were looking for someone to replace our driveway they were not the most expensive quote we had and not the cheapest either. We went with them because the sales team was really good and answered our questions upfront. Overall, from the street, the driveway looks decent. That is where the kind words stop. Below are the negative things that happened to us when we contracted AJD Concrete to replace our driveway. They asked for cash and gave us a discount for doing that instead of paying by check and then were pushy about it when we agreed They caused about $6k worth of damage to our property which I had to hound them to come back and fix. hey turned down my offer to dig up a part of my yard so they could get an appropriate bid in and then asked for more money the day of the project. I would be okay if this happened, there can be surprises; like how soft the soil was, but this just seemed partially negligent. The crew was out in our yard yelling and cursing at each other all-day. The neighbors later told us that they left their house for the day because they could not stand it. They have young children. The crew left their garbage for us to pick up and smeared Cheeto dust around our property The crew dumped the concrete latent water they used to clean their tools in our grass They had to use a generator at one point which killed a car-sized, generator-shaped section of our grass. They wanted the last half of their money before the project was complete I had to call them several times to come back and do the work that I paid them to do they gave us the California Style when we asked them not to It took them over a month to come back and fix; property damage, I will still have to get it fixed by a professional. Their professional showed up for an all-day project and spent 20 minutes working on it, cleared some leaves from the pathway, no idea why, then left before doing all that we asked them to do and never attempted to talk to us.

AJD replaced my asphalt driveway with concrete and also did my front walkway. They were professional, responsive and kept me in the loop. Everyone that I dealt with was great and happy to answer any questions. I would highly recommend AJD to anyone looking for concrete work to be done on their home.

Unfortunately we had some rain delaying the construction. My problem was the guy in charge of the project never follows up his calls. I have to be the one calling him what is the next step or are they coming today to continue on the project... I think these are the important informations that should be relayed automatically to their customers.

Honest, responsive to my questions and answered with an answer to do my job correctly and to local codes. Reasonably priced with quality workers.

They did a good job, but the sidewalk was not perfectly straight because it had a little bend that you could see if you looked straight down the end of the sidewalk. Besides that, they did a very good job and were reasonably priced.

Not being in the construction business they answered all of my questions and made sure I was happy with each step of the project. The finished driveway and side walk look great.

Great people to work with

They were great to work with I was very concerned about doing everything we could to keep from cracking I ask to see jobs from several years ago to see what the concrete looked like several years after the job all looked very good he spent a lot of time taking me to these sites they gave a very fair price I was worried about the design but he came up with a great design it got to late in the Summer of 2017 it got to hot I did not want it poured when it was in the 90s I wanted all summer to dry so he worked with us for the spring of 2018 great temperature no rain several days 4 bag mix was code I wanted more We went with 7 bag mix which he said should give us a great chance of not cracking the design is great the pitch perfect sent a great crew worked very neat came back an did a great clean up

I can't ask for anything more than what AJD provided. Perfect service and cost. Great communication and engaging. Recommend them without hesitation.

We are very satisfied with the service and finished product from the AJD team. From estimate to clean up, Daniela kept us aware and informed at every step. Most importantly Bob gave us great advice along the way, guiding us towards the best solution for our challenges. Our project included a walkway and Driveway, both of which we are very satisfied with. I wholeheartedly recommend AJD CONCRETE to anyone who has concrete needs.

Efficient, easy to work with, great team, affordable, and the work is beautiful!

Since the weather was ideal, they completed the project in a week. Their professionalism, courtesy and understanding of the project far exceeded my expectations. They obtained the permit from my village's building department; demolished the driveway, walkway and stoop in one day; Inspection the next day and concrete poured on the third day. They not only removed the framing and backfilled, but they restored my landscaping bricks. I would hire them for future projects and highly recommend AJD Concrete Construction Corp.

Great experience from start to finish

We had them replace a large, broken and uneven front patio with stamped concrete. They did a great job. Then they came back several weeks later and totally replaced our asphalt driveway. Again, they did a very nice job. They have large equipment to remove the patio and driveway quickly, and a large crew to replace it. Very nice people!
