I would absolutely steer clear of this place. We took an old wall clock in to be repaired a few years ago The man said the orig movement could not be repaired, so he recommended we put in an analog movement, for which he charged $65.00.  What he put in was a very simple, cheap, battery powered movement which is in any $3-$5 clock. We took the clock down 2x's a year to change for daylight savings. The clock is in absolutely perfect condition...exactly as it was when I bought it 20 years ago. When we took it down this time, the movement was so loose, it was able to spin around, so would not keep time. We took it back to him to tell him came loose. He put the identical cheap plastic, movement in, but when we came to pick it up he wanted to charge $65.00.... again. He claimed we dropped it or broke it ourselves. We changed the time 2x's a year....hardly abuse. This clock was never off the wall, except for daylight savings time changes. What ensued is certainly worth writing about here, so no one else will have to endure what we did. He became abusive, calling my husband a liar, and screaming insults. I would absolutely steer clear of this place.

Brought in wall clock and asked to have it repaired. Would not give estimate on the spot. Called two weeks later to find out whether ready. Was told at least six weeks for such repair. Person who answered phone did not have authority to give quote--owner not present to talk to. Repeated phone calls after the six weeks had passed did not produce any information. After a few days, we were called to tell us the clock was ready--still no price, owner not available. When clock was picked up, failed to run. Returned for rework. For three months, of no word on status; finally called when owner happened to be there, said clock has been ready some time--was not marked with our name. Disorganized, slow, self-serving service--and expensive.

It was kind of expensive but they did a good job. They said it would be done in 2 days but I called after 2 weeks and it was done but they never called me to tell me it was done.

The work on the clock was outstanding. It is operating almost as new, despite being nearly 100 years old. However, after giving us a three month deadline for the work that seemed somewhat lengthy by itself, the Timepiece missed the deadline by two full months. Furthermore, their customer service was somewhat lacking given the five months that they had the clock. The man at the store on weekends was very nice. In contrast, the woman that we reached by phone during the week was overly abrupt, again given that they missed a three month deadline by two months. Generally, I recommend the company for its high quality of work and genuine love for antique clocks. They sell some as well. However, I would do business with them again only with full recognition that patience will be needed and low expectations about customer service.

I had an old electric clock that belonged to my mother. It didn't work but I wanted to keep it for sentimental value. The cost to repair it was too much so I requested that it be converted to battery operation. I also had the face cleaned. I also had an old mantel clock which I had them convert as well. I think that it is a one man operation and it took several weeks. I had to call several times before I got a call back.

GET AN ESTIMATE BEFORE ALLOWING THEM TO DO THE WORK. THE CLOCK WAS DUSTY, I EXPECTED THE CASE TO BE CLEANED AS WELL AS THE MECHANISM. THE CLOCK REEKED OF CIGARETTE SMOKE WHEN IT WAS RETURNED. I AM NOT A SMOKER. I EXPECTED THE PRICE TO BE ABOUT $300.00. THEY ARE SLOW, IT TOOK ABOUT FOUR MONTHS TO GET THE CLOCK BACK.
