THE GREEN MAID INC

They were great the first time around but they got worse over time. They are not thorough cleaners. They were very nice but just didn't follow through like I thought they would. For the price it wasn't worth it.

Very nice cleaning products, smell great. However, the women (3 for 2 hours) are inconsistent and missed a lot of stuff. They were very nice but I expected the floors in the bathroom to be cleaned, as well as the counters. I also was surprised after they left that the didn't vacuum areas of the rug under the coffee table and there were Cheerios on the floor on the rug and under the dining room table. Maybe my expectations were too high. I called and spoke with the lady at the office and she was very nice, and took I think $10 off the bill. My experiences with this service were very similar to the other people's reports. The office was very professional, nice. The women were punctual, just not great job and quite expensive. One great thing, was they take credit cards!

They got all the cobwebs out of the corners. I am very chemically sensitive. I chose them because I don?t like using a lot of the chemicals that most housecleaning people use. They were supposedly green - and that was definitely true. I didn?t have any problems with the materials that they used. They did an okay job. I wasn?t that impressed with the quality and the thoroughness of the job. I?m pretty detail-oriented when I do my own cleaning. I would not use them again.

We very much wanted to like this service because they use green products and we have small children. We called every once in a while to have them come in before we had guests over, which worked out to about once a month, for a total of four times. The first time the service was excellent. I walked the lead person through the house and explained the details of what I wanted (I tried to be as detailed as possible [e.g. dust the tops of picture frames, pull down the shades and vacuum, vacuum under the sofa cushions] so they would know how thoroughly I wanted the house cleaned.) They were careful and quick, and at the end the lead person asked me to walk back through the house and see if there was anything left undone. Very impressive. The next few times we used the service I couldn't be there, so I left my husband a list to give them when he showed them the house. The cleaning was only adequate. The last time we used them I was here to meet the team and offered to show them the house, but they said they had been here before. I didn't stay during the cleaning, and when I got home I found that the house was not sufficiently clean. (There was still gunk on the bathroom counters, for instance.) I called the company saying I didn't want to get anyone in trouble, but they really didn't do a good job this time. The woman I spoke to was very sympathetic and said she would pass on my comments, but she also recommended I send an email because that would certainly get a response. I sent an email the next day. That was over a month ago and I never heard back from anyone. Given the less-than-impressive cleaning and the complete lack of responsiveness, we won't be using them again.

Everyone I dealt with at the company was really nice and easy to work with, from the initial phone call, to the three nice women who came to the house. They were on time, cleaned, and left on time. It felt good to have the house clean. That being said, I didn't really feel there was a "deep" cleaning as anticipated, especially given the price. I felt like our bathroom shower needed a little more scrubbing to get rid of some routine mildew. So for the price, that was frustrating. But,I did like the products they used, the fact that my house smelled good and looked decent without an overpowering toxic scent. I will use them again if I can negotiate a lower price.
