Peapod Inc are very good, come rain, come shine, they deliver in all types of weather. Your groceries always get there on time unless the weather is very bad and they advise you if that is the case. They have a cut of time and they are very good. They are a little pricey.

Peapod's online grocery shopping website is very easy to use, although their selection of products is more limited than at my local brick-and-mortar store. Their prices are about average, and there is a small delivery surcharge. The quality of the produce I ordered was superior to my local store's--cucumbers and tomatoes had deep rich color rather than the pale shades I was used to seeing locally, lettuce was crisper, and there was hardly any bruising on the apples that I see at my local store. Delivery arrived right within the two-hour window I requested, and the deliveryman was courteous.

The groceries fees are a little more and I have used the services for five years. They are efficient by browsing the isles and tell them what you want and they bring them to you. I use them all the time and will continue.

The website is very easy to use and it is a great service, especially for someone, like myself, who does not have a car. I have ordered from them several times and I am very happy with Peapod except that their produce is a gamble. The bottom line is that you are not picking it. I have had good luck with bananas, tomatoes, onions, lemons and oranges. Also, the more that you buy, the lower the delivery charge. Tipping is up to you. The delivery people are courteous and very strong! They are very polite and very grateful for tips. Delivery is usually between the two hour window selected, but if they are running late they will call you. I had a couple of pieces of produce that weren't great. I told Peapod and they refunded me. It is a bit more expensive than going to the grocery store, but I think that it is worth it.

I registered at www.peapod.com and then went shopping in their virtual grocery store. The website makes sense, allowing shoppers to browse by aisle, food or beverage type, or by grocery list. The data base keeps old orders in case you want to see what you've ordered in the past, or use the previous order as a template. I found that helpful. Prices and specials are clearly marked. When it comes to planning the delivery itself, I appreciated being able to select a wide or specific time window as my schedule determined. I placed my order before the 8 pm cut-off, selecting a two hour window the next morning. The delivery worker punctually arrived within the appointed time. He attitude was pleasant. I really appreciated the convenience of ordering on-line in the evening, then receiving the groceries 12 hours or so later without having to leave my house. There is a small mark-up to cover the delivery fee; otherwise it's pretty much the cost of the groceries.
