MHT Masonry Restoration&Tuckpointing

Miro and crew did a very nice job. They were skilled in matching our bricks, responsive and Professional. Did an excellent clean up job. We would definitely use them again.

Miro and his crew recently rebuilt my chimney, replaced some deteriorating bricks and did spot tuckpointing. He responded promptly, provided a reasonable price for the work, and completed the work in a timely and professional manner. The finished work looks fantastic. I solicited several bids for this project, and Miro's bid was in the middle. I ultimately went with Miro because I felt the most comfortable with him, and I was not disappointed. MIro and his team are extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. They arrived on time or early every day, set out to work and completely cleaned up the exterior of my house and stored their equipment neatly at the end of each day. Miro is easily accessible by phone and email and answered all of my questions and made sure I understood the work being done. I am pleased with the quality of the work done and am currently having Miro submit another quote for further masonry work that needs to be done on my home.

MHT was accommodating in scheduling services. Workers arrived on time on the day of service. Very professional and they cleaned up the area after the job was done. We are very happy with the work.

Miro was a complete pleasure to work with.  He responded quickly to our request for an estimate and arrived at the scheduled time.  He indicated that since it was a small job he would fit it in among the larger jobs he had going and let us know a day ahead.  He and the crew arrived at exactly the scheduled time and after explaining what was needed, he left his crew to work and came back to inspect everything when they finished at 3pm.  The crew were professional, efficient, quiet (except for the initial grinding out of old mortar) and cleaned up completely.  I would recommend MHT without reservation.

I hired MHT to remove old crown off my chimney and build a new one. Their estimate was the lowest of all three bids I received that varied between $1,650 and $1,000. The work was done quickly and to my full satisfaction. I do recommend them.

As a former GC and having worked with hundreds of contractors, I can say Miro is in my Top 5 best contractors. I solicited half a dozen bids to completely rebuild a front parapet wall, repair two side walls, demo one chimney and rebuild another.
The bids ranged from $7,500 to $23,000. Miro was not the cheapest, but MHT was toward the low end of the range and his bid included roofing work. This work would have required hiring a separate roofing contractor with all of the other bids. Normally, I like to have contractors only perform work they specialize in, but my concerns were allayed when I found out that Miro had a background in roofing prior to Masonry.
His proposal was very thorough and included a number of pictures of the work his crew would perform. His communication was very thorough and he occasionally included pictures send from the job site to my phone when asked for status updates.
Given my background, my BS meter is easily set off but Miro was very honest and consistent in all of his communication.
He did some work that some contractors would claim was beyond the scope of the initial quote.
His crew was professional and the jobsite was clean every night. My only disappointment is that new brick
was used on the front parapet instead of recycled face brick, but Miro went on quiet a goose chase in an attempt to find recycled brick - it was no fault of his.
I recommend Miro without qualification.

The work was done well for $9000. MHT bid the job at $19,600. It is my feeling that this company doesn't need work.
