Marty came a week earlier than scheduled because he knew the gas had been turned off on my old Roper stove. He thoroughly cleaned all 4 pilot lights plus all necessary working parts. He spent a very long time doing a good job...he takes pride in his work! When he turned the gas back on there was no more smell of gas. Then he vacuum-cleaned two older fridges for better efficiency and thoroughly got all the lint out of my two dryer lint catch areas that I could not reach, as well as the dryer vents. There was so much lint he collected, I joked that I could have made a bed pillow with that amount of lint. Marty is extremely thorough, professional and as I said, takes great pride in doing a job above and beyond excellence!!!!

Marty was very responsive to my refrigerator needs. I had a number of issues as listed above. He got to work right away and patiently explained everything to me as he fixed one thing after another. I believe he added another 5 years of life to my 20 year old refrigerator. I highly recommend Marty.

Marty came over to check on my washing machine which was making tremendous noise. He diagnosed the issue & confirmed the cost for repair, which mirrored another estimate I had received. Due to the cost of the repair and the age of the machine I decided (and he agreed) not to repair, just to purchase a new machine. I appreciated his honesty and input

Excellent. Marty made a schedule, and kept it. He was professional, and a pleasant person to talk with. He was honest and told me that I am better off buying a new one, though he could have sold me a costly repair. He also spent time talking to me about proper maintenance and what model he would buy. I called Marty's Refrigeration to come and take a look at my refrigerator.  I had a good experience from start to finish.  I was able to get Marty to come out the day after I called.  Sadly my refrigerator had a freeon leak which Marty told me is an expensive repair.  He honestly advised me that given the cost of the repair and the age of my refrigerator, that it was in my best interest to replace the refrigerator rather than pay him to fix it.

He could have just packed up and left at that point, but Marty took time to give me helpful advice on what to shop for in a new refrigerator and even gave me some tips on how to take care of it.

I was very pleased with Marty's Refrigeration and would certainly call again if I need appliance repairs in the future!

Marty is a superlative professional, knowledgeable, and takes the time to explain the most cost effective and reasonable solution to any issue. After Marty came to our house and spoke with my wife, I spoke to him again on the phone and he gave me a complete run down on the situation for an additional half-hour, weighing pros and cons. A total pleasure to speak with him -- and I would use him again for any job in a second. I don't need to look any further -- he's the guy for the job.

Marty returned my call within 20 mins of leaving message. Was at my house within the hour. He was incredibly honest in assessing the problem. My refrigerator needed a new part that he couldn't provide. He cleaned the coils and did as much as he could. I would recommend him in a minute.

They came out fairly quickly and diagnosed the problem correctly. They did the repair work and got the refrigerator working again.

great - he resolved current ice build-up and figured out that a part had been mis-assembled in manufacturing, so he repositioned it, and now my fridge works even better than it has in the three years I've owned it.

I called Marty's Refrigeration and Marty immediately responded. He came to our house, and after inspected the machine, he explained in detail the problem and the parts that need to be replaced. Before he came the next day to do the repair, he called night time to make sure we followed the procedure to defrost and reported to him if the refrigerator shut down functionally. Marty was absolutely professional and detail oriented. He also took effort cleaning every coil and the space around. Our panel built-in refrigerator is now working again. 

He went above and beyond the call of duty and was absolutely phenomenal. He even came to my home on New Year's Eve at 12:30am - that's how conscientious he is! He gave me his personal cell phone so I could contact him any time, he always returns calls, and constantly followed up with me to make sure everything was working okay. I'd give an A+++ if I could!

Very pleasant technician. Within a few minutes he gave us the bad news that he was not able to fix the freezer, since the frig had an enclosed compressor, and there was only one company (remotely located) in the Chicago area that fixed these - at $1000. He recommended we purchase a new frig - and that's what we did.

Marty was the best! His broad experience, professionalism, and honesty made the experience and results of working with him terrific.
He responded promptly to my inquiry. Then, when we weren't able to connect immediately, he persisted -- very politely -- until we made contact. He wasn't able to come over immediately but promised to call the next week to check on my availability. When he called, we were able to arrange his visit the same day.
Marty came over promptly for what I thought would be a look-see/evaluation. As it turned out, he had the door springs with him and was able to repair my wonderful-but-impaired old stove on the spot! Since I've been cooking for a couple of years with a gimpy oven door that, often as not, fell off when opened and wouldn't stay closed without being wedged shut, I was thoroughly delighted.
My 1950s Roper six-burner two-oven stove will need more attention to other matters -- some functional, some cosmetic -- at some point. Marty was able to advise me on the possibility and practicality of several of those, which greatly helps me plan for future work.
Looking forward to many fewer burns and simpler meal prep!
