Pete did a great job. I loved his suggestions on the layout and he did a great job hanging all the photos. Everything is level and secure. Had I tried to do what Peter did, it would have taken me 4 times as long and not come out nearly as well.

Multiple pieces in our collections are large and very fragile. We wanted a professional who focused on art installation for this job. Hook It Up was the only provider who seemed to hang art exclusively, as opposed to being one of many services offered by a handyman.
From the start, the owner Pete was a pleasure to work with. He responded almost immediately to our initial inquiry. He was able to be flexible and worked to find a convenient time. We were anticipating having to wait several weeks to schedule the work, but he fit us in within a week.
He arrived on time with an assistant, assessed the work to be done, and got to work immediately. They were both friendly and professional, and cared for our art in a way that inspired confidence. I was nervous about some of the heavy pieces, but they were very reassuring and clearly took pride in coming up with solutions to mount heavy and/or fragile work. For some arrangements where I was ambivalent about the layout, they provided suggestions. Many of their suggestions were better than what I had originally imagined.
The quality of their work and their customer service are both outstanding. I found the price to be very fair, especially considering the quality of the work, and it was about what I had expected. I would highly recommend Hook It Up, and plan to use them again for future installation.

They were great. Seems really fast. I wasn't here the whole time but they were nice, kept to themselves, got the job done and were very professional. We've hired them twice.

These guys are awesome !!!!!!!!!   Professionals who know how things shouod be placed in your home to maximum emjoyment and showcasing etc.

Pete is an exacting craftsman, not just a picture hanger. He even changed the hanging hardware on the back of 4 pieces of art, which were to hang on a grouping so they were to hang perfectly. He hung 6 paintings and several antique plates and chose the right hardware to use, which he brought himself. I also had him install some drapery hardware, and I would have made tons of holes,  and everything probably would have fallen by now if I had done it myself. He hangs in art galleries and does large commercial projects, and was very nice even with my little project.

Extremely well, he went above and beyond the services requested!

It took Pete just under 2 hours and each frame was absolutely level, professionally hung, and wisely laid out.  I would not hesitate to call him again.

Peter was great! He arrived on time and set about figuring the proper placement for the 12 pieces, which needed to be hung in a grid pattern and had to be perfect! He worked quickly and amazingly did the job just right and only had to put the 12 screws in the wall once. This is no small miracle to how my husband and I used to hang things on our own- putting multiple holes in the wall 'til we get the art hung the way we want it. Which leads me to asking Peter to fix our slightly crooked display of three hanging in our guest bedroom. The inexpensive Ikea frames had a wire on the back that snapped when he was working with it, but no problem--he had everything he needed to fix the issue and get the pictures back on the wall: beautifully straight and spaced.
My husband and I have finally learned our lesson that it's much more satisfying to hire someone who knows what they're doing and get things hung the right way. Hiring Peter was easy--and now I can focus on enjoying the art and not being annoyed by a job that wasn't done right. Peter knows how to do this right!  We highly recommend Peter and won't hesitate to use him again.

Pete helped recommend an art installation for me in a room where i didn't want to disturb the wallcoverings.....we weighed the options, picked the right solution and the end result looks fantastic. He was very patient, helpful and professional -- and I would recommend him highly for any project, large or small!

Service was quick and super efficient.  Everything looks great!  He was very repsonsive to emails!  I would use him again and highly recommend him.

Pete was working on a tight schedule but was able to visit my home on a Friday evening.  He was meticulous in his approach, provided great suggestions and hung the artwork like a pro!  Was able to hang all of the items on plaster walls without damaging anything.  Will certainly use Pete again!  Great job.

I had recently moved and needed my artwork installed.  Pete responded promptly to my email inquiry, arrived on time and completed the work professionally.  I had several pieces that I was not sure of where to display, and he was extremely helpful in helping me to determine the appropriate placement.  He charges by the hour, ($65) was on time, worked efficiently and everything looked fabulous.  I thought that his rate was more than reasonable, and I definitely plan on using his services again.
