I have white oak floors that are about 50 years old. I decided to remove 20 year old carpeting in three bedrooms. After estimates from 2 other companies, I decided to go with Marcel who included in his quote, removing of old closet door tracks on floor and re-sanding of my hallway to match the bedroom floors. His quote also included 3 coats of satin finish. From the beginning, Marcel was personable, reasonable and extremely neat. I would highly recommend him to my family and friends. I love my floors...they look absolutely beautiful!

From start to finish, Marcel and his crew performed professionally in every way... a rarity these days when working with contractors. We have since hired Marcel to do other jobs he was willing and able to take on with the same professional results. When Marcel wasn't able to handle a request, he honestly said so, and recommended others for the job with the same level of professionalism. Usually, this high quality of workmanship comes with high costs, but Marcel is very fair and reasonable with his pricing... again a rarity these days. Our flooring job was not an easy one. Appliances and a toilet had to be removed from the areas. The new sub floor was put down down amongst the wiring conduits running across the floors, so the pieces had to be cut and laid in like giant puzzles pieces. The foyer sub-floor was even more difficult because it was two inches of poured concrete with wire meshing that had to be busted up and torn out. A messy and difficult job, but Marcel and his crew made efficient work of it. One of the best things about working with Marcel was how conscientious he was about keeping the jobsite clean as possible at all times. He hung plastic and covered the furniture and cabinents as well. Remodeling can be stressful, but Marcel's commitment to being clean and efficient truly helped to make the experience less stressful. The wood flooring he put down looks beautiful! He did a great job matching the stain color to the existing wood floors, and his cuts are immpeccable. The job can only be as good as the craftsman's skills and tools, and Marcel owns quality tools. In summary, and as my teenage sons' say Marcel "owns."
