I have used Corrigan and Freres multiple times in the past, and they are really great to work with.  This time we had some damage from a storm that came through and ripped our power line and mast off the house.  Mike was out to look it it almost immediately after calling him, and he was able to give me better advice on next steps than either insurance or ComEd.  He got a crew out the next day so that we were ready to get our power back on.  They have always been very fair with us and provided a very high quality of work.  Couldn't recommend them enough, they are the only ones I call for an electrical job anymore.

They completed all of the work in a couple of different jobs. They can be a little slow with the work and always take longer than they say they will. This has resulted in some cost overruns. The work that they complete is of very high quality.  Overall, everything has gone fairly well. I recommend them for their honesty and knowledgeability.

We forgot we had to have this done and we called them with 36 hours notice. They came within a couple of days. He just went downstairs and took care of it. He was an older guy who had obviously been doing this all his life. He was courteous, skilled and was in and out. He was here about an hour-and-a-half. We've used them before and we will use them again.

I have used Corrigan and Frereres electric for many years.  They always give great service.  The prices are reasonable and they work quickly and efficiently.

He was very accommodating to my schedule. He was very professional, pleasant and friendly. I don't have any problems with the work he did. He was hands-above, being more responsive than anyone else I called.

Very professional and great work. Minimal damage to plaster on both installations. Very happy with overall experience.

I have had very nice experiences with them a couple of time. Their workman is very nice and professional.

The electricians arrived when they said they would, performed all the work in an efficient way. They listened to us when we asked for changes and gave us good advice when we needed it. The estimate was very reasonable compared to other estimates we received.

When I called to make the appointment I told them that I had 4 ceiling fixtures, 2 ceiling fans and a number of dimmer switches to replace. In addition I wanted an electrician who could take a quick look at the overall electrical system; we have an old house that we have recently purchased, and I had a couple questions. The electrician was a very nice man but he had a hard time following more than one direction at a time. He got half the job done; we still need to install the fans. I have no idea what the electrician's name is, he never told me. One of the lights stopped working after 2 days (loose wire). I called them and they sent back the same electrician, after I told them that I was less than impressed and that he seemed to get confused easily. I really needed an electrician who was more proactive and they sent me a man who was fine at following specific instructions. This really was an underwhelming experience.

Overall, we are very pleased with the work. They gave us an estimate pretty quickly when we needed it to finalize our contract on the house. Then they were able to start work when we needed it 2 months later. A snowstorm delayed the start by one day, because they could not work outside to change the wiring to the house. That seemed reasonable. They got to work on a Wednesday, and 3 men worked for 3 days. They weren't quite finished by Friday, but they set it so that we still had electricity over the weekend until they could come back Monday to finish. Also, while they were working, they kept electricity running to the furnace and the refrigerator even while it was off in the rest of the house. That was considerate. Mike scheduled the inspector to come a week or so later, to make sure everything was up to code. We don't live in the house yet, so I wish he had been a little clearer on exactly when the inspection would be, but that was 3-way scheduling. It worked out.

The work was done on time, in a professional manner, no fuss or wasted time or motion. Even the drywall work was done competently, with a minimum opening to the wall. The work area was completely cleaned up, and all that was required afterward was minor painting of the drywall affected. The cost was almost exactly as estimated. I would hire Corrigan & Freres again for any electrical work I need done.

I have used this company twice so far and I like that they can fit us in with their schedule when we need them. I can tell that they are really qualified to do their work, too. They were great!

They will come out if you have problem to correct. The price are reasonable.

Went great. Electrician had all tools needed to complete the work. The plugs were moved and tested.

He was very quick and efficient, and did all the work fine. No problems. He left behind his circuit tester, in case he's reading this.

EVERYTHING WENT SMOOTHLY FROM SETTING UP THE APPOINTMENT TO COMPLETION OF WORK. THEY ARE HOWEVER, A BIT PRICEY. I GUESS YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

THE ELECTRICIANS TREATED ME LIKE AN IDIOT AND DID NOT CORRECT THE TWO ITEMS WE CALLED THEM TO OUR HOUSE TO REPAIR. THE COMPANY DID NOT RESPOND WHEN WE CALLED TO COMPLAIN AND SO WE ARE NOT GOING TO USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!

MICHAEL CORRIGAN RESPONDED QUICKLY WITH A DETAILED ESTIMATE. WHEN THE TEAM CAME OUT TO PERFORM THE WORK THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME EVERY DAY, WORKED THE WHOLE DAY, AND CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES (INCLUDING ALL THE PLASTER DUST) EVERY NIGHT. WE DID GET A CHEAPER QUOTE FROM ANOTHER ELECTRICIAN BUT WE JUST HAD A BETTER FEELING ABOUT CORRIGAN, AND I THINK IT PAID OFF. WHEN WE DECIDED TO HAVE AN ADDITIONAL CEILING FIXTURE INSTALLED TWO WEEKS AFTER THE MAIN JOB WAS COMPLETE, WE CALLED CORRIGAN AT 1 P.M. AND THEY HAD AN ELECTRICIAN AT THE HOUSE BY 2 P.M. WHO FINISHED THE JOB THAT DAY!
