I was super happy with Chicagoland air duct, they came when they said, called half an hour b4 getting here. They were very professional and informative, did a great job, were thorough and cleaned up well afterwards. Thank you!!!

Ben squeezed us into the schedule after giving us a fair price for our 2 zone home. The crew showed up that afternoon and could not have been more polite or professional. I would for sure recommend them.

Everything went very well. When the technicians came they counted all the floor and ceiling vents then looked at the furnance. Jerry suggested my furance had corrosion because of condensation. So he offered me a price to clean out the furnance. He did an excellent job. Den cleaned the floor vents with expertise. I was impressed he put on shove covers as worked from room to room. Actually the carpets were really dirty. Lol. I am very please about the job these young did for me.

It seemed like they knew what they were doing, and they were very nice and hard working... But there is still black crap in our ducts and the air still smells coming out of the vents. They also gouged huge scratches in the floor moving a giant wardrobe without asking--we would have moved it carefully if we knew it had to move, instead we have four deep gouges in the hardwood. They also didn't reinstall the vents properly or at all in some cases. I would NOT recommend.

Generally pretty good. It was more dusty than I expected when they turn the heat on after they cleaned. All surplus dust blew out into the house.

We were shown before and after pictures on his phone, but had no way of knowing whether or not they were ours - we did not see them being taken. A filthy lining from the intake was left (in a plastic bag we provided) on the kitchen floor. I had to remind them to take their temporary filter that they had installed during the work. The flaps that were removed from the dryer vent were left outside on a ledge and the open dryer vent which had supposedly been cleaned had all kinds of lint around the edges. We were told they would also inspect the furnace, but were given no results of the inspection. After telling us the price would be $299, they added another charge of $75 for sanitizing. They had told us they would notify us 30 minutes before arrival time - we were not notified (he said he texted us - we have a land line and so received no text).

After the company left I had to bring in an HVAC guy because I wasnt getting cool air moving through the house. He pulled out the filter and found debris in clumps on and around the filter. He had to unplug the dirt from the underside of the evaporator coils. I paid this company to clean my system and then had to pay an HVAC guy to clean my system. The photos attached were provided to me by my HVAC guy. Not at all happy.

Over all it went well. When they were done, one of our air conditioners was not cooling. I called and the tech told me where we should check to be sure that everything had been turned back on. We did that; he came back out to make sure that we had done everything necessary. It's an old system and unfortunately required an a/c person to come out to get it going again, but I would certainly hire this company again for all the reasons listed in the ratings above. While they were here, they went above and beyond to work around our business activities and keep me informed of things they were finding and cleaning for us.

Chicagoland Air Duct cleaned the ducts at a rental property I had recently acquired. We were all surprised by the amount of dust and dirt that were in the ducts — they may not have been cleaned in decades! What we expected to be a straight-forward job took much more effort than anticipated, and Ben and his partner were fantastic throughout the whole process. Very professional, courteous and easy to work with. I would definitely hire them again!

After they arrived on time, they explained all the work they were going to perform and then showed me pictures of the ducts as they performed their work. Although my ducts were not filthy since I had them cleaned before, I believe they removed all of new construction dust and other dirt debris that had accumulated over time. I was initially suspicious of their low price but they did as good a job as my previous duct cleaner for much less. They also cleaned my dryer vent. I would recommend Chicagoland Air Duct Inc.

My air ducts were a mess as they showed me with pictures. Also installed a ultra violet vent light to keep pathogens at bay - a little pricey but worth it in my opinion.

Surprised how ineffective this process was. Much of the dirt in the return ducts stayed in the ducts. After they left I reached in the return ducts with my hand and scooped out handfuls of dirt. I ended up using a shop vac to clean as far as the hose would reach. I thought the process would be more effective.

Extremely well. Ben, Jessie, and Deon arrived on time and were extremely professional. They did a thorough job and explained everything as they went along. Their work was excellent. I highly recommend their service.

The crew arrived right at 8am which was fantastic as the window they gave me was from 8am-11am. The 3-man crew got right to work and were professional and courteous. They worked efficiently for close to two hours. The team showed me before and after pictures which were eye opening. I will definitely have them back next year!

Greatly disappointed!!!! After reading Angie's List Reviews, we were looking forward to having our air ducts cleaned for the first time. After the job was supposedly done, paid for, including paying additional for UV light, that evening the house smelled like they had sprayed air freshener. My complaint is not how the workers conducted themselves. They did not track in mud or scratch the floor or furniture. My complaint is the process was ineffective. A couple of days later my husband randomly reach into one of the returns in the upstairs bedrooms to see how well the job was done, because the air freshener had dissipated. He retrieved a large fist full of lint, debris, etc. He then got has shop vac with a six foot hose and vacuumed only three of the upstairs air duct returns. The bottom of the vacuum was covered with several inches of debris, the filter had clumps of lint covering it. See picture attached. It might have been more effective if all the vents had been closed.

The team of three guys was very efficient, focused and thorough. Initially didn't think I needed the furnace cleaned but Paz showed me how dirty it was and explained that the dust would end back up in the ducts/house if it wasn't also cleaned. Luckily I had an extra air filter handy so they replaced that after cleaning the furnace too. Very friendly team of hard working guys that have the right equipment for the job.

The work was completed in a timely fashion and in line with expectations. The crew was professional and explained thoroughly all of the work that was performed, including details about the HVAC system and ductwork.

Excellent - from scheduling the appointment to completion, I am very pleased with their work. The team did a thorough job of cleaning and sanitizing our very dirty vents. Usually when I have people repair things, I anticipate a good amount of clean up after the fact but the Chicagoland Air Duct team left my vents - and house - spotless. The price was also extremely reasonable and in line with what I would have expected it to be. I would absolutely use them again.
