Bee Zee Body Shop

The price was well below other shops. The work was done quickly and has held up over a Chicago winter. Altogether a very good job.

Bee Zee was the only shop that would repair rather than replace it. They did an excellent job, at a good price, and on time. The fender looked like new, and they added buffing of places that had been keyed at no cost. The owner was a little gruff but courteous. They accept credit cards but not checks.

Great experience start to finish. Gave me estimate in short order and pointed out items a price body shop had missed. Great price and great job. Looks perfect. Softed out issue with insurance company. I would use them again for any repair work.

Bee Zee's was #3 of 4 body shops where I went for estimates  - all but one of them recommended by my insurance company and one recommended by my mechanic. All had good reviews on Angie's list. All the estimates were for the same work on my 2014 Subaru Forrester.  All the other estimates ranged from $2800 to $3200. Bee Zee's fee was $935. Why the difference? The other 3 wanted to replace the entire  back passenger door. I asked 2 of them directly why they couldn't just pull the dents out. The door functioned properly and the dents didn't seem extreme.The body shops with the high estimates said that because of the curves in the door that it would never look right if they attempted to pull the dents.  #4 estimate brought it up saying that if I didn't have the door replaced it would be a lot of bondo work and a paint job that wouldn't match.
When I told Bee Zee's  what the other body shops said, the workman at Bee Zee's  assured me that they would make the door look like new without replacing it. And they did. It looks great. Also without even charging me for it  ( or me bringing it up) they replaced a small square that was knocked out of the front bumper. They were also unbelievably speedy. I took it in on Monday, Dec. 21st and they called to say it was ready late afternoon Wednesday, Dec 23. I picked it up the 24th.
I have to ask were other body shops unwilling (in order to get a higher fee) or unable (their workmen only know how to swap out one part for another) to do the repair I requested? I don't know. Sometimes a much lower estimate is too good to be true but I'm glad I went with my instincts which told me that the guys at Bee Zee's knew their business. They do. I would definitely go back again if I need their services.

They are really cheap, and they did good work. I was real happy with the work.

Initially was told it would take 2.5 days for repair. I had car back in 1.5 days and this was after  needing to order a part.  Work done was terrific; vehicle clean and final cost matched estimate.

They were very personable and thorough and stayed in contact with me and let me know what was going on.

repaired my Jeep Cherokee from a minor front end fender bender. Finished

BZ is unbelievable. I brought in my car because I had some body damage from a concrete pillar when reversing into our condo parking spot. I obtained three estimates. BZ Came in 40 to 60% lower than any of the other estimates. The estimate took five minutes and they quoted me a price. And they said it would be done in three days. I was to bring it in at any time no calls needed prior to delivering the car to the shop. What makes it most unbelievable is that I brought the car in on a Monday morning and they called me back on Tuesday morning saying that my car was ready to be picked up by Tuesday afternoon. Again, I expected it to be at least three days not just one night. When I saw the car I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of work they did. The dents and scratches were removed. My biggest concern was color matching the paint because it was a sapphire pearl color. It turned out perfect. I highly recommend BZ's for their quickness and quality of work.

My car was fixed quickly (4 days) at a reasonable price.  The shop is not fancy but gets the job done well at a good price.  The employees are friendly and answered all my questions to my satisfaction.  I highly recommend it.

These guys are the best hidden treasure in the state!  My husband and I have been using them for close to a decade, to repair dings to major crashes to our automobiles.  Yes, we live in the city and on average, we get our cars bashed into a couple times a year - thanks, Chicagoans! Their quotes have consistently been 70-90% lower than other garages AND they are quick!  Last time, they repaired my demolished Prius in 3 days.  
Another perk, Enterprise Rentals is right next door, so after Bee Zee calls in a claim you can just walk next door to get your complimentary rental (if you have this in your coverage).

in to We had a rear end hit  by an SUV on our  Honda Fit. The damage did not look bad but we weren't sure on the fix. 5-6 tabs holding the  left end of the plastic bumper were disengaged  from their holes on the car body. We tried to push the plastic to see if we could reengage the tabs  the holes but we were afraid we could break the tabs and stopped. On Saturday we took the car for estimates to 2 body shops. The first one said that a quick fix would cost $120 and a better one where he would epoxy a broken tab and paint the bumper, would cost about $420. The second shop, Bee-Zee, had a sign that said they are closed on Saturdays and Sundays,but there were people in the office and I wanted to try my luck. A man was moving around the desks and I sad that I knew they are closed but since we are here, asked  if it would it be possible to give an estimate. He agreed , came out and looked at the bumper. Immediately he started pushing the panel and in 10 seconds he engaged the tabs. It looked as good as new. Free of charge! I am sure the broken tab would not cause any problem since there are many other tabs nearby.. The gentleman who I found was  Yosi (The manager,owner?)  was very nice and saved us close to $500 and won a future customer!
The lady who hit our car was very happy to hear that she does not have to worry about the incident.

I was hit in a shopping center parking lot.  The gentleman who hit me sent me to Bee-Zee to have the repairs done.  They did a great job and returned the car to me when they promised.

The work was done well and finished at the promised time.

Best price in town, great results, completed the job in a week. I will use them moving forward.

It went fantastic.  I had obtained a few estimates, both online and from another body shop, all of which were at least $200 more than what Bee Zee quoted me.  I brought the car in first thing on a Monday morning, had an estimate within 5 minutes, and was out the door quickly.  They promised to return the car by Wednesday, which was impressive given the amount of work that needed to be done.  I was very impressed that they got started while I was still in the shop.  The car was ready Wednesday morning.  The work exceeded my expectations, and the care looked like new.  They kept to their estimate.  I was highly impressed and will definitely go back there for body work in the future.

They did body and paint work on both of our cars. We were very satisfied.

I went to them because of their high rating on Angie's List and they gave me the estimate.   They honored it 10 days later when I had the repair performed.

After owning a new-to-me van after only a short time, I accidentally backed into my friend's car and dented in my rear bumper, ruining one of the backup sensors. I know what you are thinking--if I had backup sensors, how did I hit something? Well, they were turned off because there was a sleeping baby in the car.

Anyway, I took the van to Bee Zee because they had some some repairs a few months prior and I liked their work. The previous repairs were not through insurance, but this bumper fix was. They took the van right away, and work only took a few days. The bumper now looks great and the backup sensors work just fine (I leave them on now, no matter how many babies are sleeping in my van).

The quote Bee Zee gave me for the bumper fix was well over my deductible of $500, and didn't necessarily agree with the quote they gave me for the non-insurance work I had done before (which included rear bumper repair). However, for the insurance job Bee Zee replaced anything that was damaged whereas for the non-insurance job, they repaired as much as they could to keep cost down. The new bumper alone was nearly my entire deductible. Also, with the insurance job, Bee Zee accepted VISA whereas with the non-insurance job they only took cash.

Once again, Bee Zee did quality work in an amazingly short period of time.  Bee Zee  took my van in the back for repairs 5 minutes after I arrived to drop it off and I had the van back in my possession 3 days after I dropped it off.

I had purchased a used minivan and wanted various repairs made to the body (fix rust spots, fix cracked bumpers, repaint 80% of vehicle).

Bee Zee gave me, by far, the lowest quote for all the work. Their quote was around half of what two other places quoted me for the same procedures. The quote was so low that it made me suspicious, but the good reviews here on AL were right on.

First off, the owner, Yosi, gave me a quote in about a minute and that was the actual amount I paid after everything was done (no additional taxes, fees, or anything). I wasn't going through insurance, and I felt like Bee Zee cut me a break because of it. The only catch was that I had to pay in cash.

Now, I know enough about auto body repair to know that Bee Zee took a slightly more economic approach to repairing my vehicle (repaired bumpers instead of replacing, didn't disassemble some parts before repainting--just masked off, etc). However, my van looks incredible and I haven't had any problems in the 4 months since the repairs.

One of my favorite things about Bee Zee is that you can take a car in for a quote, they will begin work RIGHT AWAY (while you are standing there filing out paperwork, waiting for a cab), and they will be done QUICKLY (probably within a few days). My $2,400 repair that included repainting most of the vehicle took 4 days. That's it!

Gave a quick estimate, and when I brought it back the total cost was the same as the estimate.  No surprises.
