The technician, Alex, was great. Professional and courteous. He was scheduled to arrive between 1 and 2pm. He called me from outside my place at 1:02pm.
The fumes were nowhere near as bad as I had been expecting. Of course, it helped that they had a fan set up to blow the fumes out of the bathroom and all the way out my balcony.
The bathtub looks great.

It was odd, he never stopped to talk to me or look at me while he was speaking. I don't know what he looks like. He was always walking away to his van/to the bathroom, etc. while speaking to me all while on his cell phone.
The job looked fine after he left, it was hard to stay too long in the bathroom because of the fumes. The next day I noticed some flaws and blemishes and the paint came off with me scratching it with my fingernail. He agreed to come back to do repairs, but could not give me a time. He kept asking me to call and remind him in a few hours and asking if he could come late at night and to just leave our back door unlocked? This went on for a couple days.
He finally showed up, re-did the tub and asked for another $150 which we did not give to him. He still did not do a good job on the tub, now the flaws/blemishes are in different spots.
"I'm sorry Mr. [removed member name] feels this way. I received his complaint, I came to inspect the repair. I fixed the tub even though he damaged it by scratching it with his finger. Instructions were given to be careful with the new refinish. However, I fixed the tub even though he refused to pay the $150 that it cost to repair it. As far as going back and forth to my van, It is necessary to bring in five bags of materials and equipment to properly do the job. It requires a paint machine, a breathing machine, a vent machine and various other items that are necessary to properly prepare the area and do the job. As to the complaint about my cell phone use, I had to take a call that required my attention due to a family illness. Providing good customer service is very important to me. We appreciate customer feedback and will continue to improve our services to our customers."
