Airflow was very prompt, showing up at 8:15 am.  They proceeded to remove our old units, build a 'box' for our furnace to rest upon which was much better than the bricks used in the old system.  They carried our new air conditioner to the roof without the use of a crain which helped keep the price down.  We were also advised to buy a smaller a/c unit than what was installed previously to allow it to cycle more frequently and therefore dehumidify our unit better (we are a garden unit so cooling isn't as difficult as dehumidifying).
The technicians were very professional and worked tirelessly until 7:30 pm.  The job looked well done to my eyes but Airflow insisted to have a follow up visit to put some finishing touches on the furnace install and ensure there was no intermediate leakage from the A/C unit on the roof to our unit in the basement.  They did this at our convenience and I can report they showed up for that apportionment and quickly did their work so my wife and I could leave for our jobs.
I found Airflow to be professional, straight-forward, easy to work with and very cost effective.  We are very pleased with the work they have and have some piece of mind in knowing we have a warranty with them to ensure that great work for the next few years.  I found them through a recommendation from a fellow condo owner and can't recommend them enough even though they have a lower rating here on Angie's.

Used them for years.  Initially got good service.  Not happy last year with service.  Person not on time.  On the cell phone way too much during our service time-making the job take longer and I had to wait longer to be able to leave the house; not to mention, how well was he paying attention to what he was doing?

When we called for them to come out to fix the air conditioner, they were very rude to my wife, suggested that we transfer the warranty to another Rheem dealer, and promptly hung up on her.  Will never do business with this company again.

Could not have been more happier with the service I got from this small
family company. Yoram the owner installed air conditioning in my inlaws
12 years ago, and needles to say they were really happy with his service
and the unitl is still working without any issues.
We needed a
new compressor and after giving up on American Home Shield on replacing
our unit, as it makes no sense to put a new compressor in a 23 year old
a/c, we decided to byte the bullet and put a new A/C in. Yoram gave us a
good discount for putting the furnace and A/C in and even helped us
come up with a payment plan that quite comfortable for us. His
installers came on time and installed the unit within the allocated
time. No damage or anything, everything went well in a professional and
clean manner. Would use this company again in the future.
The price was fair and much below other vendors.

It was home warranty work, my furnace was out. They came the same day, within the promised 2 hour time window. 2 problems were found. The main one was fixed right away giving me back my heat, and the second problem was fixed 2 days later when the part came in. Overall these guys were good and reliable. When the service guy was running a few minutes late the dispatcher called me to let me know.

I needed an estimate ASAP to get my furnace replaced, and the owner showed up that evening. He offered me a very fair price for a higher quality furnace than the firm I had been working with to try to fix the old furnace. The installers arrived at my house on-time, and were very friendly and professional, explaining to me what they were doing. They finished the installation in a timely manner, and left the basement very clean. I was contacted within a week to ask if I had been satisfied with the firm's work. During the first blast of cold weather on a Saturday, the furnace wasn’t blowing enough heat to heat the house. The owner showed up at my house within 4 hours to adjust the speed of the fan, and the furnace is working fine.

Airflow was contacted to identify why our air conditioner was not working and to correct the problem. On the first visit, the technician spent about 40 minutes looking at the AC unit and said that it was most likely freon leaking, but he could not verify this assumption. He stated the only thing he could do was fill the freon and see if the unit would hold it. He stated that if it was a leak, we would have to perform a $700 test to find out where the leak was. After a few days the air conditioner was again not working, so the same technician was sent out again. He said that the unit was empty again so it was definitely a leak, but he could not find it. At this point we declined the $700 leak test. His advised us that it could be the valves, so he changed those and refilled the unit with freon again. He said if that didn't work we had no choice but to do the $700 test because the leak could not be found without it. Again, the AC was not working within a few days. The third time we called a different company. The technician from this company was able to identify the leak within two minutes of his inspection. He then confirmed it with an electronic devise (that he simply held up to the spot he thought the leak was) and fixed the problem the same day. (No $700 test necessary.) He also had to fix the newly replaced valves that airflow installed, which in his words said were "installed in a less then conventional manner and would not last very long." When I called Airflow to talk to the owner about the issue, he did not return my calls on two occasions and two weeks went by. On my third call, he answered the phone and rudely told me there was nothing he would do. He said that perhaps the company that did fix our problem had different equipment and that his technician performed good work.

1/21, service tech arrived, listened to squeal, determined belt should be replaced. Tech was polite and friendly. Called in, had new belt dropped off. Replaced thermostat. For a few days, all seemed well. On 24th, heard squeal again, called in; person who answered phone said a tech would be out Monday morning. Did not want to take down my information, suggesting he had it all in his possession. No call or arrival on Monday. Called in, made arrangements with other person to have tech out that Thursday AM. Tech arrived, examined furnace, described noise as normal, departed. Over next few days, noise increased in volume. Called in tech from another company, who assessed the noise as coming from a bearing. Noted that the belt had been overtightened. End result: first Airflow tech did install thermostat correctly, failed to diagnose problem, at best did not help the situation by replacing belt. Phone response mixed - initial and final calls responded well, second call did not. Followup visit ineffective.

I called Airflow at 3:00pm on a Friday and they were able to send someone to my house within 2 hours. Marco came in and removed the clog from the gas line (a simple repair). I was happy with Marco's work and he was helpful explaining the problem and how he fixed it.

During the beginning of the first major heat wave of the summer, our central air went out! I called today (Saturday) and someone was able to come out and fix it same day. This was quite literally a life saver! Although he had many calls to make, he took the time to show us how to clean the ac unit outside properly. Extra credit!

WORKMAN ARRIVED ON TIME, SURVEYED AREA IN WHICH THE WORK WAS TO BE DONE, AND GOT TO WORK PROMPTLY. HE WAS CONSCIENTIOUS OF AESTHETIC CONCERNS, AND PERFORMED THE JOB WELL. TOOK CARE NOT TO DAMAGE SURROUNDING AREAS AND LEFT THE AREA CLEAN AND TIDY. WORKMAN DID NOT HAVE A LADDER AND ASKED TO USE MINE. FINALLY, I WAS CONCERNED THAT THE WORKMAN PLACED HIS TOOLS ON TOP OF MY NEW WASHER, BUT THERE WAS NO DAMAGE. WOULD HAVE PREFERRED THAT HE PLACE THEM ON THE FLOOR OR COVER THE BRAND NEW WASHER AND DRYER WHEN WORKING NEAR THEM.

THE OWNER CAME OUT AND MADE SURE THAT EVERYTHING WAS DONE TO OUR LIKING. WE ADDED SPECIAL FEATURES FOR OUR DAUGHTER WHO HAS ASTHMA. HE DIDN'T TRY TO OVERSELL US BUT WAS HONEST. WE HAVE USED HIM IN THE PAST. WE WILL USE HIM AGAIN. WHEN THE INSPECTOR CAME OUT HE SAID IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL JOB, HE SEEMED VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE WORK.
