Once Steve arrived, he immediately pulled out the refrigerator, took out the above cabinet and got started measuring and cutting.  Then, he reinstalled the cabinet, made sure the refrigerator fit and slid it back in.  No mess, no muss, no fuss.  The whole job took about an hour and some change.  My mother is very happy!
