I bought a 2001 toyota tacoma with 54000 miles. The transmission fluid was brown, but not black. We I inquired about getting the done they told me it would be only if the fluid was not too dark. They told me that usually if it is too dark that means the friction surface of the clutches has been worn off and is in the fluid. If you change the fluid it will remove this friction material and cause slippage. I thought this was an honest thing to inform me of. The price was less than half of what most quoted. I went there based on them being on Angie's list.

I went on Saturday morning for an oil change. The service man asked me for my keys. He took my car in the garage, changed the oil, did other checks on the car and took it out of the garage. I went in the office and paid. It had only taken him about 15 minutes to do the work.
