Roofing
$10,000
Ryan didn't show up until December 2, 2010, and tore off part of the roof.  He never came back to do the roof. He came a few times when we called him because the roof was leaking and he had to come and keep covering with tar paper. He was building a garage elsewhere and remodeling a house, but he didn't have time to get to our roof after being paid !0,000 in cash. He finally showed up in June of 2011, and wanted 10,000 more to have the shingles delivered. He had gone that morning and paid the first payment of about 9200 dollars and that was the first time he paid anything on the shingles sitting in the distributer's warehouse, so we still owed 10,000 for the shingles. We wonder what he did with our first $10.000.  We told him no more money until he finished the house, then we would give him a third and the last third when he did the garage. He called and stopped the delivery.   We were able to find another company to do the job and we were able to buy the shakes from the distributer. Ryan Beeman had paid about 9000 dollars toward the shakes and we had to pay what was owed, so we ended up out $800, no roof done and damage to our inside walls. We did check his references and they were good. However, we failed to check with the Better Business Bureau and had we done so we would not have hired him as he already had an F rating. We would not hire Ryan Beeman for any work as this was an 8 month nightmare that we were constantly getting leaks and cleaning up and worrying every time it rained or snowed. The contractor that did the job showed up on a Monday and had the job done by the following Wed. It took them only 2 and 1/2 days to do the job. Ryan could not get it done in 8 months after taking our $10,000.
