PAQCC

I am extremely dissatisfied with PAQCC. After 11 months they still have not completed our project which they stated would only need two days to complete (installing an aluminum fence around our backyard). Having used this company in 2006 to remodel our kitchen with relative success, I unfortunately did not hesitate to hire them again three years later. Sadly had I checked other resources (Better Business Bureau and Cook County Court) sooner I would have discovered their business practices had changed in recent months. Upon initial contact Edith (Edyta) Duda and her husband John (Janusz) Duda are very friendly and responsive. The project planning process is painless and they have many good ideas. Their pricing was a bit higher than other estimates we received but having seen their workmanship from our kitchen remodel we decided to proceed. The fence: We paid our deposit and were told in September by Edith the fence would take 6 weeks to order and 2 days to install. By late October 2009 she stated they received the materials and she acquired the permit to install the fence. They have done nothing on this project since. I have repeatedly called PAQCC however I am continually told different dates when they will begin the work just to have them not show up nor contact me. At this point I have no fence and they have failed to return our money. The garage: They demolished our existing garage within a week of the signed contract in September however we continuously had to wait for the next steps. Finally after repeated calls to them they finally completed the garage in December, thankfully before the winter weather arrived. I have no complaints about the workmanship, only the time (12 weeks) it took them to complete two weeks worth of work.
