We worked with Casey and his installation team at Michon Siding and Windows for many years, over 25 to be exact and have successfully completed multiple projects for many properties for our family in NW Metro Chicago suburbs. Latest project this year was a new roof for mother in law Stella duplex in Streamwood. She is very pleased with helpful advice how to save money for a retired person on a fixed income, quality of material selection and installation. It is very important to properly protect large valleys she had with underlayment and proper water draining with oversized downspouts. When our roof was damaged by hail, we needed a reliable contractor to replace it for us. Michon Siding replaced our siding last year and the job was so impressive that just by observing, (2) of our neighbors decided to have Michon do their siding. We immediately looked to them to replace our roof. As before, the work was done quickly, professionally and is absolutely Beautiful, giving the finish touch to our home. My city building inspector said it was the "Cadillac" of roofs. The shingles are guaranteed for 30 years. I was a little bothered that the replacement soffits were a tad narrower than the originals, which made the eaves come up a tad higher. Probably no one but me would notice. Work was done in a fairly timely fashion especially since we were dealing with encroaching winter weather. They never finished their cleanup because they had "another job" on the last pre-snow day of the season. When they came back to clean up the day following that, there was already 3" of snow on the ground. So they never came back. I had shingles and nails and cigarette butts all around my house when the snow melted. I had held back a couple hundred dollars so at least they never got that last money, but they never tried to finish the cleanup either. I tried to contact them in June 2010 or so to ask them if they wanted to bid on new siding from hail damage, but I couldn't get ahold of them. Their voice mail was full so I sent them a fax and never heard anything back. So I don't know if they are still in business.

The work that was done was excellent and the workers were very diligent. They made sure they were here on time and answered all the questions that I asked. I can say that they wanted to do a perfect job for me.
