JOSEPH WOODWORKING INC

This was one of three projects that Joseph Woodworking planned and executed for me. (I have kept them separate as if they were combined, the total cost would be misleading.) On this project as on the others my experience with them was extremely satisfying from start to finish. All personnel I dealt with, from one of the managers (Terry Lee) to their principal (I think) designer (Jamie Helm), the people who did the drywall & painting, etc.; everyone was polite and affable. In terms of explaining the various stages of work to be done, the timetable and adhering to it closely, down to the cleaning up along the way and on completion of the job. The whole project went smoothly, and the result exceeded my highest expectations where fine craftsmanship is concerned. The one part of this project that depended on a company other than Joseph, the installation of the flat-screen TV, DVD-player, etc. also went well except for a minor glitch, which Joseph, not the media person, quickly fixed.

JOSEPH WOODWORKING SPECIALIZES IN FINE WOODWORKING IN OLDER BUILDINGS, E.G., THEY REPAIR WOODEN WINDOWS OR, IF THAT'S NOT POSSIBLE, REPLACE THEM WITH WOODEN WINDOWS, AS OPPOSED TO INSTALLING VINYL WINDOWS IN THE PLACE OF DAMAGED WOODEN ONES. TERRY LEE, THE PROJECT MANAGER, RESPONDED PROMPTLY TO MY REQUEST FOR AN ESTIMATE AND WAS FLEXIBLE IN SCHEDULING THE WORK TO ACCOMMODATE OUR HOUSEHOLD. MATT, THE CARPENTER, WAS BOTH PROMPT AND POLITE, BUT--MOST IMPORTANT--HE IS A HIGHLY SKILLED CRAFTSMAN. I'VE BEEN ENTIRELY SATISFIED WITH THEIR WORK, PARTLY BECAUSE THEY ARE COMMITTED TO CONSERVING OLDER BUILDINGS, BUT ALSO BECAUSE THEY DO EXCELLENT WORK FOR A REASONABLE PRICE.
