Our and staff are committed to providing quality veterinary care throughout the life of your pet. Our services and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care for young, healthy pets; early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages; and complete medical and surgical care as necessary during his or her lifetime. We appreciate our current and past clients as well. All referrals that result in a new client visit to Wise Road Animal Hospital will result in a credit to the client's account to be used for goods and services at Wise Road Animal Hospital (no coupon necessary). We took our dog Roscoe for the first time at the hostipal in early April. Roscoe was about 16 years old and was diagnosed with spleen tumor. He died at the hospital. Dr DeCraene's diagnosis and kind words helped us to find closure with his death. We also appreciate the signed consolation card from their office. We are grateful for their kind and compassionate service.

We’ve been going to them for years and years. They are very professional and my only complaint is I think that they charge a little high especially for an office visit, often times, when you go there for rabies shot and that’s it, they still charge for like an office visit. The 2 vets that are there now, they’ve been there for quite a few years but as I said, I’ve been going there for many, many years and the vet that was there before, he never charged for office visits or for like trim their nails or anything like that. Times have changed, I know but still if you are in a fixed income, it can be costly to have some of that done and still have to pay for an office visit.

A few years ago, they were open to my dog rescue work needs and would agree to see the dogs I was fostering at a reduced fee if we submitted the proper paperwork. Recently, when attempting to access care for these unwanted fosters coming out of bad situations, these vets have consistently placed roadblocks for care and encouraged us to go elsewhere. While I've always been very pleased at the quality and time given my personal animals, their values no longer match mine as someone trying to save dogs left to die
They are great vets and I understand that it takes money to run a vet practice. But I've never experienced an openness to helping rescued dogs or those that need help with little finances. This has become more apparent over time. I recognize that my experience is perhaps unusual given my involvement in rescue but, as an animal lover, I want to see a vet that cares about all animals, especially those that are most in need of vet services.
They are great vets and I understand that it takes money to run a vet practice. But I've never experienced an openness to helping rescued dogs or those that need help with little finances. Love Wise Animal Hospital. Doctors are down to earth and accessible. I've never had to wait too long for the doctors even on a sick visit. They are cost conscience and do a good job with managing vet tech visits versus a doctor's visit.

The overall experience with the Wise Road Animal Hospital has been outstanding!! The words that best describe this company are and quot;The Best and They Careand quot;, and it shows in everything they do at this facility. We have used this hospital for two dogs now, and found
they are the real deal. The Vets and staff here are highly trained, knowledgeable, caring, dedicated, and go the extra step to provide high quality service. We have used this business for quite a few years now and always had great service for our animals. We have told
friends and family members about this business, and they now have their pets serviced at this facility. Dr. DeCraine and Dr. Pfeiffer are outstanding Vets and don't get enough credit for all the hard work they do to save animals.
The staff here share the same belief in loving care for animals, and show their professional care every day with all the animals they treat. Our dog had surgery and was terrified by being crated during her post-op, and one of the wonderful techs(Laura), soothed her and calmed her down. It may seem like a minor detail, but was greatly appreciated by us.

We love Wise Road Animal Hospital and have been using their services for about 6 years now. We typically see Dr. DeCraene and he's very informed and understanding. He always lays all the options on the table, but also gives his professional opinion of which one he would chose if he were in the same situation. In the past three years, one of my dogs has had a stroke and the other has had a cancerous tumor. Both healed very well thanks to the care provided by Dr. DeCraene and his staff.
