With more than 15 years experience, Schaumburg Veterinary Hospital will make sure your pets receive the loving care and attention they need and deserve. We want your pet to receive optimal care at an affordable price. Your pet is a member of the family, and our friendly, knowledgeable staff has the training and qualifications necessary to diagnose and treat any health issue, along with loving care and the personal touch you’ve come to expect from Schaumburg Veterinary Hospital. We now have extended hours of care, so that we are able to best serve your furry friend, now at times that are more convenient for you! Our new hours of operation are 7 AM until 12 AM, 7 days a week, and 362 days a year!. During these hours, we will be able to provide your pet not only with emergency care, but also for routine wellness exams. • Surgery, Dental care, Vaccinations, X-ray, Boarding, In-house blood work, We also have an on-site lab and pharmacy so your pets can get the care they need today. Prescription diet food is available, as well. Diagnostic testing and preventative care are also part of our regular exams when relevant. A female Dr took X-rays and told me my dog had chipped bones in both rear legs. She said it was mild and to continue dog aspirins and do a recheck in 30 days. In 30 days I saw Dr Vine(?) and he said there was a sore on the paw pad of the rear right leg and inflammation on the rear left knee. His remedy was to and quot;stop all pain medsand quot; and only walking for 30 days. He even told me to stop Traumeel which is a homeopathic remedy. I got a third opinion from a different vet office and was told the rear left leg had a cranial cruciate ligament injury and arthritis due the the injury. I finally have pain meds and a plan of action to avoid surgery. On top of all of this, I transferred 2 dogs' records from my old vet in chgo and was told last week that they couldn't find my second dog's records. I will never return to this vet.

They are open twenty four hours all seven days a week, and there is always a doctor on duty there. The doctor that we see during the normal hours is young. His wife and he both take care of our dog. They are not pushy or anything. They seem like they know what they are doing.

our dog hurt her leg and the emergency vet (he was new to me - i was a bit excited and have forgotten his name) gently examined our dog's leg,and took her back for x-rays. after looking at the x-rays, he said it could be a couple of things and he suggested an exam under sedation the next day for a definitive diagnosis. we returned the next day it was diagnosed as arthritis in her elbow and a treatment plan was suggested. we've followed it and she is much improved thanks to the vets and techs at Park-Wise - now Schaumburg Veterinary Hospital.

did't grade the cost as I have no past experience to determine whether their service cost is average or not. I do know that their markup for the tick/flea once a month medication is pretty high - about $20 for a one time medication and I could get a 3-mos supply from Costco for $37.

At any rate, their service is good. The office assistants are very friendly and sweet to my puppy. The vet answered questions I had and provided tips on puppy training. Overall, I would definitely recommend this office.

Dr. Kate Bloomberg and Dr. Jeff Bloomberg are both excellent, knowledgeable, and caring veterinarians. We depend on them throughout the year for advice and help. We have a special needs cat and their practice staff is always welcoming and professional.

I love the fact that the vet at Park-Wise Animal Hosp was very caring, kind, and professional. He took a great deal of time with my animals to make sure the diagnosis and treatment was appropriate. At the same time, he moved quickly with the testing so that they could be treated and returned home the same day. The staff was also responsive, caring, and professional.
