Naturescape Lawn & Landscape Care

I have used Naturescape for years, no issues until this year. After a treatment in late June/early July I noticed some plants were effected by the treatment. Called the Joliet branch and the person who sprayed came out and examined the issues with the plants, he took pictures and said he would forward to his manager. Two weeks go by and the next treatment was being applied by the same person, I inquired why I didn't hear back and he again took photos and said he would forward to the manager. Two more weeks go by and no response, I e-mail them and the manger finally comes out and examines issue and said he would get back to me within a few days. A week goes by and no response, I again e-mail them still no response.

My 30 year old Yews began dying in less than a week (and are now totally dead). Their 'supervisor' came out and tried to blame the problem on Root Rot. My Landscaper of 20 years and my Arborist of 10 yrs have confirmed the damage was done by the foliar spraying. Have filed a formal complaint with BBB, and will follow-up with Schaumburg Township and state EPA - and ultimately, if needed - a lawsuit in small claims court for the thousands of $$$ of damage they caused if they do not resolve this issue. AS OF NOV 29 - after 'stringing me along' for 3 months with an 'investigation', the Company has refused to take responsibility for the damage they have done. I will be filing a Small Claims Suit against them. Just a HORRIBLE company.

I have had a very bad two experience with this company. Started with a brand new sod yard and now have a substantially dead yard with weeds, primarily violets. For almost every application I have had to ask them to come out because they don't show up. Whatever they use for weeds doesn't work. Whenever I call they make excuses.

Do not use this company if you want your lawn looking good. It takes them 10 days to come out and and spray your lawn for weeds. I called them on a Tuesday they showed up on the following Friday. This was the second request for weeds in my lawn. They say call them back 7 days after the treatment. I would recommend if you are using this lawn service call them back immediately after the 7 days because it will take them 10 days from that call. Their customer service is horrible. My lawn looked good before my vacation but when I came back it had weeds. I used them last year and my lawn was fine, this year it seams like they are using water instead of chemicals. The Manager Mike said normal turn time is 72 hours, try 10 days.

I called NatureScapes when my old landscaper didn't return my calls. My yard looked like a hayfield and NatureScapes came out the day after I called them. I was very pleased with the quick response and the great job that was done.

The weed killer they applied has worked great.  Given all the rain we have had plus the fertilization, I expected our yard to be greener.  It still looks good, just not as green as I expected.

They did nothing; I contacted them over 2 weeks ago to arrange for the first treatment (and evaluation) of the lawn of my new home, and have been waiting patiently ever since. No one ever showed up.  I called this afternoon to let them know that I had selected another lawn service and to remove me from their schedule (if I had ever even been added) and was told that they could do a rush to get someone out by *JUNE* 2nd, which I declined since I contacted another company TODAY who will be doing it a week before that.  This is disappointing, as I had used Naturescape (based out of Rockford, I believe) for my past two homes over close to 10 years, but this location does not compare.

I've used them for probably 12 years. I stick with them because of quality and price.

NatureScape has applied two lawn treatments and aerated once. So far, I'm pleased with how my lawn looks.

I used an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service. They are responsible and thorough; if they sprayed in a downpour they would come back and do it. They are nice guys and actually remember my name from year-to-year. I wish all providers were as good as they are.

Notice of spraying and other information was left in mail box. This rating is based on experience in using this company for several years.

They did a nice job and they were on time. We are actually going to call them again for our next project.

NatureScape is really good! I didn't have to be home, but one time I happened to be. They come and do what they need to do, and leave. I am planning on signing up for their 5 application package. My brother uses them, and has for years. His lawn is spectacular! I will use them again in the future.

They're fine. They just come put a thing in the lawn and leave a note. The price is fine as well.

Terrible! I also subscribe to their lawn fertilizing service as well and have never been happy. I had to call them because of the weeds and they came out to redo the area. My lawn doesn't look anywhere as good as my neighbors lawns. I prepaid for this years lawn service and I have canceled it. They told me I would have to wait 4-6 weeks for a refund. Why should I must wait this long, after all I wrote them a check and they cashed it.

THIS IS OUR SECOND YEAR WITH THE SERVICE. WE HAVE REQUESTED NOTIFICATION BEFORE APPLICATIONS SO THAT WE CAN RAKE THE LEAVES FROM A BIG OAK TREE IN OUR YARD. A FEW TIMES THE APPLICATION HAS BEEN A FEW DAYS LATER THAN THEY SAID. ONCE LAST YEAR, I SAW ALMOST NO GRAINS OF FERTILIZER AFTER THEY LEFT A NOTE THAT IT HAD BEEN APPLIED. WHEN I COMPLAINED, THEY CAME OUT AND DID IT AGAIN A FEW DAYS LATER FOR NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. LAST YEAR WE ALSO HAD THEM AERATE THE LAWN. THE WORKER DID A REALLY CAREFUL AND THOROUGH JOB. HE DID NOT MAR OUR PAVER BRICK DRIVEWAY AND WALKWAY AND DID NOT MISS THE THIN STRIPS OF LAWN NEXT TO THE WALKWAYS. HE PROBABLY DID AN EXTRA GOOD JOB BECAUSE I HAD JUST COME HOME, SO I WATCHED HIM DO ALL THE WORK.
