Wally showed up 6 hours late the first day. He showed up alone and began racing through the process of staining the windows.
The windows were supposed to be stained and varnished before the other contractor installed them. Since Wally was late the first day and never brought the crew of painters he promised the other contractor was forced to install the windows before they were varnished. The men installing the windows left hand prints on the walls of all the bedrooms. Wally is a sloppy painter and he splashed paint on the woodwork around the new windows and he got so much stain and varnish on the windows it that we have not been able to get it off the windows. After a few days Wally sent another painter to continue the work. That painter quit when Wally did not pay him. After almost two months of this ridiculous behavior we told Wally to go. We paid him off and the job was left unfinished.
