Legend Park Apartments

We moved here from out of state and they knew that. My partner and I had separated and got back together several times and I knew we might have trouble finding an apartment. We had to get a co-signer, which I expected. When I was working things out with them, they could tell by the way we dressed that we were mildly affluent. I wasn't really expecting all the bells and whistles because I knew we were moving into a lower scale apartment complex and that's fine. The pictures online are nothing like the actual apartment complex. The fire alarm didn't work properly and would always go off. None of the windows would open. There is a massive built in window in each bedroom. Supposedly it had been freshly painted and newly carpeted and the cabinets and counter-tops re-surfaced before we moved in. But what they did was paint the counter top. The walls look like they sprayed everything and just painted over. There are holes in the bathroom cabinets and holes in the sheet-rock around the edges of the electrical outlet. We do have a big sliding glass door in the living room but no balcony, but that is your only access to fresh air. It's noisy, it's smelly. We are stuck here because our credit is so bad. I think the rates will be going up soon as well.
