The work was awesome!  The crew arrived at 7:30 and finished by 5:30 on the same day.  There were nice little unexpected details that were added to the siding that certainly improved the overall appearance of the house. Examples include replacing the small box-like platforms that the exterior light fixtures are attached to so that they match the siding; replacing the dryer vent to match the siding; adding new detail around exterior water faucets to make them more appealing; framing out all sections of siding with a small detail piece (don't know correct term for the piece) that backed up to all windows, doors, and trim.  It really looks sharp and clean! 
Home Guard Exteriors were also replacing my gutters and down spouts, and they removed the old gutters/down spouts on the same day they did the siding.  They gave us plenty of time (2 weeks) so that we could paint our trim before replacing gutters; they were very accommodating with this issue.
Lastly, to demonstrate the company's integrity, I must share one more thing.  I noticed a week after my siding was up that my air conditioner was no longer working.  Being that it was a new air conditioner, I was concerned that the workers had hit something on the exterior to make it fail.   I called Home Guard and they were out immediately to check on my air conditioner; a small wire had been disconnected and they had it fixed in 10 minutes.  They were very considerate with immediately addressing my concern knowing that the following day we were expecting 90 degree temps.
The Home Guard guys are very pleasant to work with, and I'll use them again for exterior needs in the future.

From start to finish, it was a job well done. They began with helping me get approved through my insurance company; assisted with picking out the right roofing shingles; and installed a new roof in no time. Always acting in a professional manner, I felt Home Guard was trustworthy and full of integrity. The most impressive part of the entire process was how quickly the roof was replaced. They began at 8am and were completed by 2pm on the same day. Neighbors couldn't believe how efficiently their crew worked. The property was left spotless after they had completed the work, including cleaning out gutters, picking up all shingle debris, and blowing out any remnants of the job away from the porch/deck/yard. I felt very comfortable with every step of the process using Home Guard Exteriors and will continue to use their services in the future. Quality Work!!!!
