GRANT'S APPLIANCE ELECTRONICS & MORE

I had first priced this item from this store and was given a higher price. I then located it at another store at a lower price but was dissatisfied with their service, so took their pricing to Grants and they beat the price. They were able to deliver it on the date I requested and called 1 or 2 days prior to delivery to confirm the delivery date. They called the day of the delivery early in the a.m. to confirm the window of time they would be delivering the appliances and they were delivered within that time frame. The delivery people were polite and performed a good installation.

Overall we were very satisfied with the customer service and prices we received from Grants. We have already told several other people about them and plan to buy from them again in the future.

I PURCHASED TWO UNITS FROM A VERY NICE SALESPERSON. WHEN IT CAME TIME FOR THE UNITS TO BE DELIVERED, THE DELIVERY MEN DAMAGED THE CORNER MOLDING REMOVING THE OLD UNITS AND BALANCED THE NEW DRYER WITH TWO HOTPADS AND A PIECE OF CARDBOARD. WASHER COULD NOT BE HOOKED UP CORRECTLY EITHER. I CALLED FOR THE SITUATION TO BE FIXED AND THEY WERE VERY HAPPY TO SET UP THE NEXT APPOINTMENT, BUT WERE NOT ACCOMMODATING AT ALL. THEY WERE MORE CONCERNED ABOUT KEEPING THEIR OWN SCHEDULE. I MADE ANOTHER APPOINTMENT FOR THE NEXT DAY AND I GOT THE SAME KIND OF ATTITUDE AND UNWILLINGNESS TO WORK WITH ME. THEY DID FINALLY CONNECT AND BALANCE THE UNITS. I WENT BACK TO THE STORE TO SPEAK TO THE ORIGINAL SALESPERSON AND HE ASSURED ME THAT HE WOULD TALK TO HIS MANAGER AND BRING IT UP AT THE MANAGER'S MEETING. HE ALSO GAVE ME THE NAME AND PHONE NUMBER TO BE REIMBURSED FOR THE DAMAGE THAT WAS DONE, BUT NOT TRUSTING THE QUALITY OF THE COMPANY THEY SUGGESTED, I HAVE TURNED TO ANGIE'S LIST.
