When we come to your home for a service call, a diagnostic check is done on your equipment, and once we've found the problem, we'll explain everything and let you know the price of repairs before we begin any work so there are no surprises. When Darien got there he got all his material out of his work van (I looked into his van, it was neat and well organized) . He took all the material to the basement and set up. He began tearing out the old unit, he cleaned up as he went making the basement not unsafe. He explained what he was going to do as he went , since it was still getting cold at night he made sure that the furnace was the first item that was installed and ready to go before he left. He cleaned the area before leaving for the day and lets us know what time he would he be returning the next day. He showed up right on time the next morning and started working right away on finishing installing the AC unit,. He ran all new piping making everything look very nice, he was replacing the unit that was installed when the house was built. Comparing the appearance of the new unit to the old unit I did not realize what a sloppy job was done when they installed the original unit til I saw the job EPIC did. Our thermostat was in a bad location so he moved our thermostat to a better spot in our house. After finishing with the installation he made sure the areas where clean and removed all the old equipment and trash before he left. He sat down with us going over all the paperwork , he also helped us fill out all the warranty paperwork. He installed a wifi thermostat and made sure we understood how to set it up and use it.. He was at our house around 14 hours between the two days. I was really impressed with the job he did and would recommend EPIC to anyone that needs furnace or ac work.
