 + -1 moreGet an iron clad contract, with penalties for tardiness. Never sign his contract. NEVER give the final draw until the job is complete. It's his responsiblity to have enough cash flow to pay his help.
Description of Work: Started a rehab job in January of this year. Kept stalling. I kept pressure on him. Aug. 15th of this year the company abandoned the job. Left us paying another contractor $12,000 to complete the work. Asked for receipts to give to the appraiser. He produced copies of his bank statement showing large cash withdrawls, with no accounting for where the money went. Fabricated hand written unsigned invoices that didn't add up.
