 + 0 moreIt went well. Ming (the service person who came out) was very knowledgeable and pleasant. He brought 2 boards with him on the first visit (the 2 most common that have problems) but it turned out that another board needed replacement. He came back 2 days later, on a Saturday, to replace the bad board. The TV works perfectly now.
Description of Work: The company did a warranty repair on our new flat-screen TV. One of the boards went bad and we called Samsung and they had Alert Electronics call us to set up an appointment.

 + -1 moreI was a good experience. The service person was very helpful especially since I am not knowledgable when it involves technology with programing TV's etc.
Description of Work: I have a new TV which communicates with my server, TV, Tivo, CD, etc. He programed the remotes, cleaned up my cables which were a mess and I was able to talk to him in order to clearify a remote problem. Wally is not at Alert but Eddie was great. Negetative, he is only available on Monday and Tuesday. so one must wait for an appointment.

 + -1 moreCALLED ALERT AND WALLY CAME OUT THE VERY NEXT DAY. WE WERE TOLD THAT IT WOULD TAKE 3 DAYS TO REPAIR (THEY PICKED UP AND DELIVERED) THE TV. WHAT A SURPRISE WHEN THEY CALLED THE NEXT DAY AND DELIVERED OUR TV. WHILE IT MAY BE 18 YEARS OLD I THINK EVEN WALLY LIKED THE QUALITY OF THE PICTURE.
Description of Work: OUR 18 YEAR OLD TV WAS DAMAGED DUE TO LIGHTENING. THEY FIXED THE TUNER ASSEMBLY AND I.F. BLOCK.
