Jim returned our call within 24 hours and came within 48 to give the estimate. He estimated 5 days and $2100 for the labor, plus materials for which he would provide receipts. We had called 6 companies, 2 ended up being the same company and never sent us a quote but gave us a very rough estimate which we weren't comfortable with; 1 never showed up for the quote, 1 company emailed us a very detailed formal quote which was quite high. Jim was right in between--written quote based on estimated labor and materials. Jim arrived to do the work on time every day. He only missed one day, and that was because 10 inches of snow had fallen the previous night and no one was going anywhere. He was pleasant, non-intrusive, and took great care to clean up as much as he could. He took 6 days to do the work.(1 day more.) He put in the lights, made recommendations, and, drywalled the necessary holes flawlessly. (The ceiling actually looks better than it did before he started.) TOP NOTCH.
