Wasco Nursery & Garden Center

We had a comprehensive landscape plan completed by Meagan at Wasco last year and have had trees and other landscaping installed by them for the past two years. Meagan was great to work with and did a great job of listening to us and helping us budget the project. Our home had almost zero landscaping (not even mulch beds) when we moved in. The plant materials that Wasco installed or that we have purchased from them and installed ourselves seem to be of high quality so far. We had a few hiccups with one installation, but they fixed it ASAP, and have always been responsive to questions. Workers who come to the home are excellent.

We first met with Meghan, their landscape designer, a couple of years ago and she was awesome.   As we continue with our design, she has been very responsive and informative.  We have had them plant 9 trees and bushes over the past 2 years and have been completely satisfied.   Last year we lost a tree and because the provide a 3 year warranty on their trees, bushes that they do they planting, it was not an issue.  They gave us a credit for the tree that did not survive.   We are completely satisfied and happy with their work and the outcome of our landscaping!

They have a very knowledgeable staff so if you have any horticultural questions they are very well able to answer them. They have a tremendous selection of trees, shrubs, flowers, and services. They provide services too. We don't often use the services but they do offer them.

They were later than expected because the first scouting trip found large roots that had been left by the tree removal service and no one told me about this. However, when they came back they did an excellent job. It might have been possible to get a cheaper installation but their professionalism and care for craftsmanship was evident.

Did a very nice job in a very timely manner. Cleaned up after themselves. Showed up when they were supposed to the workers were very polite nice and cordial. They took great care to make sure they were careful with the surrounding area.

Yes, I was pretty pleased with everything they did. Actually, I'm a good deal older. I think that would be not I wanted to see up as well as I would like. I need help. But, it's a beautiful plan. We've got a lot of comments on it from everybody. It was done in the year 2007.

They did excellent work. The price was reasonable for the work that we had done; we did have a couple of places, and theirs was most reasonable. We also bought a fair amount of bushes and plants. The staff is very easy to work with. They are upfront about how long things would take, and about when they will be there. They come when they say they will come. Overall it's a great for landscaping and other needs like that.

They filled our tree requirement with a visit to their tree nursery. Sales person was professional and very informative. Tree was planted quickly and efficiently. I was very happy with the overall experience.

Had to replace an overgrown pine which we removed ourselves, including using some sod to shrink the perimeter of the planting bed. Plants are healthy and the installers spoke with us to ensure they were installed in the right places. In several spots the sod was installed about 1/2" to 3/4" lower than the existing lawn, which meant I had to fix it by peeling it up and filling in with more soil, but this was a minor issue. Very pleased with the services overall.

We had a positive experience overall. We knew going into it that their prices were more expensive than some, but we felt that their experience,quality of plants and reputation made up for this. They visited our home promptly and came up with a plan in a timely manner. We were very impressed with the presentation they gave us about their plans and their drawing of the design. They explained very thoroughly why certain choices were made for our yard. The install went smoothly and everything was left in neat order. They recommended that we call them as the fall approached so they could tell us how to winterize our new plants. We did call and didn't hear back. However, I have to say that I didn't call back to follow up on my initial call so it's possible that my message was misplaced. It was uncharacteristic of the service we received early on in our experience with them. Most everything held up fine over the first winter with the exception of three small plants. These are included in our warranty, so we'll call this spring to have them replaced. I don't anticipate having any problems with them upholding the warranty.

We had a great experience with Matt Zerby. He is extremely knowledgeable and creative in his design. He was also good about incorporating some of our existing plant material into the design and transplanting bushes, so he was mindful of our budget. We plan to work with him again. We asked many questions and were impressed with the level of expertise he demonstrated. He is very easy to work with and oversaw the entire project. The crew was efficient and thoroughly cleaned up the work area. I highly recommend this company.

It took a few weeks for their stock to come in, but they called to let us know about the delay, called again to let us know that they would be out. Yard looks great. We have neighbors who used other companies who are still waiting from last fall for plant replacement.

The design was excellent! They worked very hard to put everything together just the right way. They were very good and the whole thing looks amazing. They did not leave any mess behind and the price was reasonable too.

Wasco nursery sent several men to cut our sod, plant trees and bushes according to the plan their expert drew up for us.
