 + -1 morePoor Tom and his guys started the addition in January, in very cold weather. Some days the only work they were able to do was to shovel snow out of our playroom-to-be! Yet somehow they finished on time, and even completed some additonal jobs that we added along the way. Tom is a great guy (my two boys love him!) and all of his guys as well as his subs were great. They showed up when they said they would, did a ton of hard work, and were all very nice too. Everything from the hardwood flooring to the paint was done quickly and with very little disruption to the rest of the home. Any time we had questions Tom responded promptly, even coming out on weekends to check on things. Not only do we love the new addition, but everyone else who sees it loves it too. And both inside and out, you can't tell the room wasn't part of the original house.
Description of Work: Tom built a playroom addition, with a new basement area below. He also re-did a powder room and pushed out a reach-in pantry to make it a walk-in.

 + 0 moreImpeccably clean demolition, sensitive to difficulties of homeowner living through construction. Careful to explain changes to original contract cost before performing new work. Excellent subcontractors.
Description of Work: Replaced gabled 2nd floor dormer bathroom. Built shed dormer in keeping with style of 1930's bungalow. Added two new baths and a closet.
