Everything seemed to be done very efficiently and it seemed as though they were done in no time. The old base had sunk in a few places and they were careful to fill in where stone was needed to get a good even base. The driveway turned out nice and smooth and the edges taper nicely down into the grass. In fact, prior to the drive being redone the asphalt was below the garage floor by a few inches. I didn't realize until afterwards that I'd been using that and quot;bumpand quot; to tell me when to brake as I entered the garage. Now the approach is so smooth I have to really pay attention so I don't drive through the wall of the garage :-)
They cleaned up behind themselves and will return in a couple of months to sealcoat prior to the winter setting in. We were SO thrilled to get that basketball court out and they managed to do it without tearing up the rest of the yard. They were also willing to haul the old basketball pole away which was one less headache for us.
As far as pricing goes, we had a number of estimates and they were very reasonable. A couple were in the ballpark and one person wanted almost double. So, it pays to shop around. Personable, easy to work with and a nice new driveway (and one less basketball court!!) So, all in all, a job well do
