Mark came out, set traps, and eliminated the skunks living under our shed. He came out many times and persisted until all skunks were gone. He was very knowledgeable, personable and professional. He also was very helpful by giving advice on how to prevent this from happening again.

Mark's service was above our expectations. He responded promptly when called (we had skunk smell throughout our house and we had a 2 week new born baby to worry about). Mark was professional and knowledgeable about his profession. He walked us through the process and trapped the skunk immediately. He cleaned up the location and provided us with advice to keep critters out of the space in the future. He followed up to make sure he got all the skunks and made multiple trips out to our house to ensure no more critters. My family and I could not be more happy with the service he provided. Excellent - had been trying city, county, state resources to take care of this and was coming up empty.  Did not like the idea of having coyote bait in front of a home.  Contacted Mark and he was able to remove that same day.

Our details aren't really that important; I just want to tell you that Mark is consummately professional, ethical in his treatment of the animals he's dealing with, seemingly tireless and hard-working. Oh, and he's very reasonable in his pricing. We've recommended him without reservation to friends and neighbors. If you have a problem with animal pests in my area (and he covers several counties)--hire him!

After trying to call the county and township it appeared we were on our own with this situation. I found R-Mark Wildlife as a licensed operator on the county's website and then doubled checked on Angie's List. I was lucky to catch Mark in the area and he came over within a couple of hours. He and his business partners are extremely knowledgeable, experienced, professional, and polite. We discussed options and his crew came out here very quickly and took care of the threat living in our backyard. I recommend them as THE place to call if you find yourself in the same predicament. Job well done and we have our yard back!!!! Thank you so much!

Mark is extremely knowledgeable, efficient, punctual and polite. He set traps and caught 6 raccoons in less than a week. Removed the animals immediately and checked traps every day. We were very satisfied with his responsive service and highly recommend R-Mark Wildlife Management.

Started to leave Mark a message and he called me back while I was leaving the message! Came out that same day and verified that the animal living under our deck was a skunk and set a trap while he was there. Another animal sprang the trap that night and Mark came back the next day to reset it. Skunk responded to the bait the following night, Mark came out that day and took care of the removal (he had explained to us that the skunk would be euthanized and not taken to another spot to set up home). Good thing he trapped the skunk when he did as it was a large female, ready to get pregnant......sure didn't want more critters undermining our deck.
Mark called back two days later to ensure we were happy with the results and to reinforce what we should do with the area the skunk had torn out as it was compromising our deck. He gave us thorough and detailed information so we would be saved from more issues as the skunks have been loving our neighborhood and movin' on in! We sealed it up the next day following his instructions and are very grateful for all of his help.
We recommend Mark very highly and his pricing is extremely reasonable. Another thing to note is that we did not have to be present in order for Mark to take care of everything. One if us happened to be home, but he is able to take care of everything without you needing to being there in person.

He was excellent. He tried really hard. He apologized and said this happens. His pricing was fair. He was very nice and professional. We would recommend him to anybody. Once he came at night even. He came during the days to check on his cages. He was very pleasant. We could tell that he really listens to his work. This is his life's calling.

Heard funny noises in the attic. Contacted Aurora Animal Control who recommended R. Mark Romano. He offered advice and to check the attic when I thought the raccoon left. He found entrance and exit of the raccoon which was difficult to find and where the raccoon had moved and was hiding. He and his partner quickly and humanely removed the mother racoon and 8 cubs.

We thought we had a groundhog nesting under our deck. Mark responded quickly, was very polite and gave us good advice to make sure we didn't attract other wildlife. He followed up several days later, and when it turned out to not be a groundhog problem, was very nice.

We noticed a 12-pt buck out in the yard, he was down on the ground and there was lots of blood. This had to be dealt with quickly because the coyotes were already at him. I called Animal Control, but they couldn't respond because it is private property. I dug up Mark's card (he had been out here once before when there was a dead animal under my sun room), and checked on Angie's List to confirm the phone number (and to make sure he was still getting good reviews). Then I called and left him a voicemail, which he returned in about 20 min. I explained the situation. He was here in less than an hour (because of the size of the animal, he lined up assistance and came with Michael -- who's in the same business). They drove down the yard, wrapped the deer in a tarp and took it away to be cremated. There was a lot of blood, apparently the animal had been hit by a car, made it this far and hadn't been dead very long. This was all very difficult for me to deal with, but the humor came about an hour later when two sheriff's police showed up at my house ... they had followed the trail of blood (left behind as Mark and Michael drove away) back to my house, not sure exactly what they would be finding. We told them what happened, but they looked skeptical as they left...

I left a message for Mark and he returned my call within 30 minutes. He came out the next day as promised and set the traps near where we had seen the skunks. He caught the Mama and 2 babies that night. He told us to call him when we saw we had some and that was at 9p, but he did call us back that night. the next morning, he came right out. He dragged them to the back of the property and by law, he must euthanize them. He uses lethal injections on a long stick right in the traps. We just kept the kids busy in another part of the house while he did this. We told the kids he took them "away" which was true, we just didn't say they weren't alive anymore. We knew we didn't catch at least one of the babies as we saw him hanging outside the traps, so Mark set more traps that day and we caught 2 more babies the next night. He moved the dirt right up against the stoop where they were burrowing and told us to watch for any disturbances. So far, no other critters have come or gone. We hope not to have to use Mark again, but we'd definitely recommend him to others.
