King's Mill

The finish on the dining room set was in terrible shape and the set was stained very dark.  They are stripping it and restaining it in a medium oak color.  They are also doing some minor repairs on the set.  Because I could let them have the whole set for several months to work on at their leisure, they gave me a very good price.  They have also worked on several other pieces for me in the past, including my antique upright piano which was damaged in a flood and needed to be completely rebuilt. They have always done wonderful work of very high quality.  They have expert craftsmen, and I am worried about who will do the work when they
retire, as most of them are close to if not past normal retirement age.   I would highly recommend them for any work needed on quality antique furniture.  They have worked on pieces for the Art Institute of Chicago.
